who hates M$ (fees)

i hate that i have to pay for my gold and gt subscriptions and they force developers to put fees on there dlc that they want to give out for free like epics games didnt want make any fees for dlc for gears and bungie was angry for the price that they had to put there ledgendery map pack and the price of every (accesories) M$ give us a break i bought a x360 just to play gta iv and other console exclusives then to find out i wanted more and every started to suck! who else doesn't like this :[

Peronally I find that Live is well forth fifty dollars a year(not that I've had to pay for it as of late thanks to all the Live subscriptions cards I got for my birthday and Christmas and the free 1 month live cards I get every tim I get RROD).

I do think Microsoft could lighted up on DLC though. I mean we're having to pay for theings we other wise shouldnt have to like the Orange box update and the Variety map pack in Call of Duty 4(was free on the PC on day 1, but it's still ten dollars on live).

It's not much of a big deal to me though. Like I said, I think Live is well worth the fee and the only DLC I really ever find worth paying for is for Halo 3. And I'll gladly pay for maps in that game.

If these small fees are a problem then you picked the wrong hobby

Pick something free like reading books at the library because then you wont be out any money unless you're irresponsible

He has no problem hurting the industry buying used games but when the industry charges to make up for people like him he gets upset

the fee for Xbox Live makes sense if you compare it to the pc:

sure, the PC games out there has free online play, but the cost of a computer that can run call of duty 4 and 5 is kinda about 600 decently. your getting out pretty well. the DLC, though, is a different story. Being a rock band player, i found myself spending about 30 dollars just for extra songs. also, I find it funny that people have to buy content for games like Call of duty 4 on xbox 360 when people on Pcs can just got get it without forking up any form of cards.

There is nothing we can do, though. we already took the bait, and now they are reeling us in. Mad about the cost of xbox live? blame the first 9000 players for even paying for halo 2 online. . .

(Oh, and no, i don't care about PS3 online, thank you)

Topics like this are getting old, and I am tired of seeing them.

You have to pay to play so deal with it.

Also Microsoft doesn't care what you or anyone thinks, because over the past few years if they wanted to they would have made everything free of what people are complaining about paying for. Microsoft won't make anything free because people are paying for these things anyways because if they want it then they have no choice but to pay for it.

thats why i dont like/buy DLC

i don't have a problem paying for live but i do hate paying for game content. the PC has free mods that the 360 would have to pay for. iam2green

well if he wants ill give him the damn code becaus ei dont play online so i have no use for them. maybe he doesnt understand how a buisness works. if i spend my time making something that cost us money yeah im going to charge for it, so that we can make money to put towards other projects

hey again wow i gt alot of comments umm i think xbl isn't soo bad but do sony users have to pay, no and ppl are saying that it cost money to make dlc but most companys didnt want to charge for dlc because dlc makes more sales, and you gt more money wen more sales come then only some buy dlc, read up on wiki look up 'dlc' then look at the bottom. i no 6$ isn't much but all the dlc you get for that game will add up and the other games you buy, plus just because you dont buy much doesnt mean anything, wat will it be like if there wasnt a charge i bet all of us will have the 500+ on rb2 and all the maps for our halo cod and gears and we would have very unique gamer pics from each other because we would buy more dont say you dont mind say this is ****Captyc

yeah so he expects to get a group of maps fro free when we paid 60 for gear new and that was our little gift for buying it new.

Well, Microsoft is the publisher of Gears and Halo, so they have the same amount of say in DLC price as the developers. As for paying $50 a year for XBL Gold I do agree with you: total rip off.limpbizkit818

They use the "it takes money to run the servers!" excuse to get people to fork over $50. If Steam and X-Fire can be free on the PC than so should XBL.
