Why is Halo 3 so bad now?

That's your own connection problem, it's not a problem with Halo 3 or Bungie because my copy of Halo 3 works fine. The "stupid NAT" has to be open because if it isn't, then you will continue to be angry. Simple enough.

"Also when you do finally get into a game it's blurry and people quit and glitch and it lags extremely bad and your teamates kill you."

I said the achievements gave me a reason to go back and try it again because I had done pretty much everything there was until now.

No, it is a Halo 3 problem because I never have problems with COD4, GTA4, Gears, and LOTR:BFME2. It's only Halo 3.

Halo 3 is still one of my favourite games. It's just that they keep adding map packs and I don't feel like paying for them so I stopped playing because all my friends have them and they just boot me because I don't.

Look, another person who hates Halo 3!!!! I gave up on that game too, and not just achievement wise. Campaign was dull as hell, multiplayer was dull as hell, and everytime I get into a game and it disconnects, I lose expereince, and it counts as a REAL MATCH!!!! This game is just horrible at multiplayer. Hell, Dead Rising's online play is much more better then this!!!

Honestly, just give up on this game, and sell it to get about $15 or something around that...

I logged on to the forum here to see this topic, and thought, "Holy ****ing trollbait, Batman." I'm not criticizing you, thread creator, as you did have a legitimate problem and were (kinda) asking for help on how to fix it. As others have commented, a certain type of poster sees "Halo" in a thread title and quickly gets an erection, anticipating yet another chance to rip on a popular game. I don't get it.

Now, with that out of the way, to all the CoD4 vs. Halo fanboys, bugger off...Seriously, it's gotten old already. They're both great games, if you're too blind to see that then you really fit the fanboy category. If you simply don't like a game, then fine. But back it up with why you don't like it. Every argument needs solid reasoning, otherwise it's just pointless rambling.

Halo is so bad because ever since COD 4 came out, they couldn't top it. COD is realistic unlike Halo in most cases and Halo gets boring really fast.

Yeah, Call of Duty's very realistic... :roll: When I was in Iraq, every time I got my leg blown off, it was okay, 'cause as long as I took cover for about five seconds, it'd grow right back. Spontaneous limb regeneration makes a lot more sense than a futuristic energy shield.

I agree with campaign criticism: i rly didnt like it... i was so dissapointed that i sold my halo 3

til i played multiplayer, which i rly enjoyed it so i...got it once again XD

no long time since my 2nd halo and my conection is not a problem at all, actually, i find a game immediately, it loads n it never disconects in a mid game

i think i play more halo 3 than gears of war cuz i sux on GoW!...im just bad on 3rd person shooters (talking about shooters...i play more soulcalibur 4 or even guitar hero 3)... i ve never tried CoD on multiplayer

I got halo 3 about 4 weeks ago and COD 4 about 3 weeks ago. I know I'm slow. I have to say that I was disappointed some with Halo 3. Personally didn't feel it looked all to much next gen, and the campaign has not been interesting since halo 1. Still playing through the campaign, so hopefully it gets better. I have not completed halo 3 because I've been sucked into COD4. Simply an amazing game. Looks great, plays great, and its a lot of fun. Obviously, COD4 is getting much more playing time from me at the moment.
