what do you go home to?

I'm re-watching OTH 514 - What do you go home to? - explosions in the sky
And I'm just saying, the atmosphere is totally different from "hundred" and before.
I'm trying to figure out what the difference is, but I haven't pinpointed it yet... give me a couple of days and I will give my opinion!

btw

btw

The hives did play on Leno, so it wasn't a waste of perfectly fine sleeping time (rhyme!)

Flash Mob

look at this video!

I've just joined a group on facebook called "flash mob gbg2 I had no idea what it was but now I've been studying the subject and I like the concept!

Here'd the definition of a flash mob according to wikipedia

The first flash mob was organized in Manhattan in May 2003, by Bill Wasik senior editor of Harper's Magazine. The origins of the flash mobs were unknown until Wasik published an article about his creation in the March 2006 edition of Harper's. The first attempt was unsuccessful after the targeted retail store was tipped off about the plan for people to gather. Wasik avoided such problems during the second flash mob, which occurred in June 3, 2003 at Macy's department store, by sending participants to preliminary staging areas-in four prearranged Manhattan bars-where they received further instructions about the ultimate event and location just before the event began.

More than one hundred people converged upon the ninth floor rug department of the store, gathering around an expensive rug. Anyone approached by a sales assistant was advised to say that the gatherers lived together in a warehouse on the outskirts of New York, that they were shopping for a "love rug", and that they made all their purchase decisions as a group.

Subsequently, 200 people flooded the lobby and mezzanine of the Hyatt hotel in synchronized applause for about fifteen seconds, and a shoe boutique in SoHo was invaded by participants pretending to be tourists on a bus trip.

Wasik claimed that he created flash mobs as a social experiment designed to poke fun at hipsters and to highlight the cultural atmosphere of conformity and of wanting to be an insider or part of "the next big thing."

how about that??

anyways!
I'm tihnking about participate in a flash mob soon... I want to know what it feels like!

music on talkshows.. and why are they so off with the airing here??

I'm watching a rerun of Leno. (it's a rerun of the swedish airing and even farther from the original air date in the US) and I started to watch beacause I read in the tv-guide that the hives was supposed to play.. but it seems like they won't and now I'm sad...

And through that I begun to wonder... why is there so much crap music on the late shows?? Most days I turn off the TV when it's time for the music. And I have to say, I'm not picky about music. In my mp3 at the moment there are
The Foo Fighters
Bruce Springsteen
Jason Mraz
José Gonzales x2
Kate Voegele
Mozella
Under the influence of Giants
Gavin DeGraw
and some random stuff...

and I have som Mando Diao, the Hives, the Kooks, but also the Beatles, and ABBA...

Robyn is good and Adam Tensta www.myspace.com/AdamTensta is great!! Check him out. And then there's Laleh and Salem Al Fakir, and Josh Groban...
and John Mayer, and once again Gavin DeGraw...
and a great band, Costa del Sol

And there is only bad music on tv...

irritating!

Friday Night Lights, the Bloodhound Gang & Maroon 5

Kanal 5 is showing the first season of Friday Night Lights on late Sunday afternoons, probably the most wonderful TV-drama ever made for TV, I didn't watch it, I didn't want to ruin the experience by watching it on cable and through that get all the commercial... but anyways, the theme song made the last summer come right back to me.
The warmth
The rain
The free time
All the memories just came flooding back, or not memories, just a warm feeling in my stomach... It's interesting how TV, but mostly music can have that wonderful ability!

When I hear Bloodhound Gang's The bad touch I remember my first boyfriend

The whole CD songs about Jane, by Maroon 5 gives me flashbacks to the summer of '05

I think it's fascinating!!

one tree hill season 1 leads to things in season 5

I have to much time on my hands... I've hurt my ancle and is referd to our living room, we live on the second floor without an alevator on the countryside, and I don't have a drivers licens, so I'm stuck...

But everything bad brings something good, I've been watching alot of OTH today, like five or six episodes, some from season 1 and the beginning of season 5, and I must say, the small things in season 1 that is so important later on. Small words that changes a whole world...

Now I'm gonna watch an episode of Kyle XY, an episode I don't remember that I've seen...

gilmore girls rerun

I'm kinda watching gilmore girls... from a long time ago...

And I'm missing rory and lorelai and luke... why do the ahut down every good show?? Veronica Mars, Gilmore Girls, Journeyman? or is it me? is my taste in tv wrong?

I want

and

and old school

and

and danish series are almost always good

mordkommisionen, for example...

quote: wonderful, inspiering

Peyton :Make a wish and place it in your heart
Anything you want
Everything you want

Lucas: Do you have it? Good!
Now believe it can come true
You never know where the next miracle's gonna come from
The next smile
The next wish come true

Peyton: But if you believe that it's right around the corner
And you hopen your heart and mind to the possibility of it
To the certenty of it

Brooke: You might just get the thing you're wishing for

Nathan: The world is full of magic
You just have to belive in it
So make your wish.
Do you have it?

Haley: Good!
Now believe in it
With all you're heart

OTH s05e13

I just saw this epi, and I can't decide what t think...

  • I loved the flashedbacks, especially the lucas/peyton thing in the end!
  • The voice overs were wonderful! absolutley wonderful!!!
  • There were alot of true feelings, something that isn't usuall on TV today...

  • The whole episode were really slow, but that might have been a good thing, there was time reflection and time to show those powerfull emotions!! But we aren't used to the tempo, that we got, and that may be a reason to my hesitation... but I don't know, I can't identify my own feelings (and that feels a bit trubbelling)
  • Lucas desperation annoyed me a bit. In the end when he held his speach to Lindsay, and said
"one of these days you gonna wake up, and you're feel that same (me? can't identify the word) in your heart, and you're gonna realize how much I love you. And whenever that day is, I still be waiting for you, and you'll come home to me"
Wait a minute... isn't that really close to some of the things he has said before especially to Peyton?? I don't have any examples, it's just a feeling... I have nothing against Lucas, and I know he's heartbroken, but please, be original!!
  • And why Max/Mark? the only good thing about that was that Peyton got to explain her love to music.
  • Nathan/Haley, isn't it common knowledge that in a realtionship you have to maintain your own individuallity?? and in the Nathan/Haley situation, hasn't this topic been up before?? when Nathan became a "good guy" and Haley kissed Chris Keller... I'm just thinking...

But in all, this episode was necessary, we had to be made aware of all those feeling, and on that mission the episode was exelent!

I can't focus...

Tomorrow is tha last day to apply to the university, and the website where I'm supposed to do the applying is malfunctioning, and I can't focus, I'm getting really stressed...

And I go to school to prepair for the university, and there we have just read about stress, and it's bad, and I mean bad!!

I want to study children and youth culture, about the inpact that music, film and litterature has on young people... I'm crossing my fingers that I will be accepted!
