Well, it's back to work for me.  But, surprisingly, I'm in a very good mood today!  :D

How was your weekend?

Mine was quite good!  I went to play games with some friends yesterday.  We played about 2/3 of a game of Arkham Horror before some players had to leave.  We played 2 games of Caylus, went to dinner, and then finished with Cities and Knights of Catan.  I lost all three, but still had fun.  :D

I had a really cute Fruits Basket blog for y'all today.  I'm too busy now to redo it, and don't think I have the heart for it at this point anyway.

I'm having an excellent Thursday!  Not only is it almost the weekend, but in the US it's a holiday weekend.  I couldn't be happier about that!!!  Woot!!!  :) :D :) ;) 8)

No pictures today...  I don't have time.

I'm at work, and not even able to lurk much.  I wanted to weigh in with my thoughts on last night's finales.  I'll try not to spoil.

NCIS.  I give it a C+.  It was alright, but not what we've come to expect from this show.  [spoiler] It wasn't an NCIS episode.  There was no case.  We got maybe 3 minutes each of Abby, McGee, Gibbs, Ziva, Ducky...  Less than that of Palmer & Lee.  The only secrets revealed were obvious.  (Jeanne thought Tony's last name was DiNardo and that he was a Professor at the University.  Jeanne is the frog's daughter.  Jenny's dad faked his death/suicide.)  Duh!  So we ended up with an episode that was all about Tony, Jeanne and Jenny and had no case or team interraction.  I'm sorry, but team interraction is what makes this show the greatest.  The episode didn't completely blow, but it was very disappointing.  To date, NCIS has had three absolutely amazing season finales.  I must admit, my expectations for season four were much higher.  [/spoiler]

Veronica Mars.  I'll give it a B+ or A-.  Two really good episodes back to back.  Some disappointments, and I hope they decide to renew and this isn't the end, but all in all a good way to spend the evening. 

AI - Jordin blew Blake out of the water as far as I'm concerned.  We'll see.

Dancing with the Stars.  So annoyed. [spoiler] Apolo?  He's alright, but Joey was both more consistent and a better crowd-pleaser.  I'm beginning to question whether they actually count the people's votes...  :( [/spoiler]

Well, I gotta get back to work.  On a fanfic note, I hope everyone is liking Tim's story.  There is more to come, but I have a tendency to get bogged down in details and take forever to tell a short story.  :D

Good morning and Happy Tuesday!!

On a personal note, I'm doing much better today! :D 8)

Words cannot describe the depth of my excitement and anticipation of tonight's NCIS season finale!!!  The only negative is how long we have to wait until the new season begins...  :(  I still think Jeanne and Tony aren't what they seem.  I think she at least began as part of his assignment.  I also think she doesn't know his true last name or what he does for a living.  I can't wait to see what sort of secrets are going to be revealed for us this evening.  :D :D  A friend invited me over to play games tonight.  I wanted to say yes, but had to tell her no.  Are you kidding? I can't miss this episode, and want to see it as soon as humanly possible!!!

Being finale season, I felt it was appropriate to end my fanfic story "A Walk on the Wild Side" last night with a cliffhanger.  I'll pick it back up after the summer.  My next story is fun, but not related in any way to the last one.  I should start posting it soon.

I loved the thing with Hiro at the end.  I guess that explains how he learns to use his sword.  :D  I thought Nathan flying Peter into the stratosphere to go boom was kind of anticlimactic, personally.  Why the heck did Claire not just shoot him?  It's not like he wouldn't heal.  If shooting him would knock him out long enough to stop the explosion and he's gonna heal anyway, why stand there all mamby-pamby crying like a wuss scared to shoot the man you know is gonna be fine?  I just don't get that.  I loved the think with Nikki/Jessica.  So, are they supposed to be integrated now, with Nikki having Jessica's power but retaining her personality?  I hope so - that's what I wanted all along.  I hope Matt's gonna be okay.  He's a good guy.  And did Bennett say "Call me Noah"?  I wondered if I heard that correctly. It's a good and noble name.  :)  Anyhow, I thought the episode as a whole was fantastic!  I just don't get the blow up scenario. [/spoiler]

Tonight we get two final hours of Veronica Mars, before she goes off the air never to return.  :cry: :cry:  The show has been great as always lately, but the mysteries have been a little lacking.  And I don't like Keith as sheriff.  I'm looking forward to seeing how everything pans out.  I really love this show and am sad to see it go.  The writing is just so good, particularly, the dialogue.  The show is witty and funny...  I'm really going to miss it.

Happy Monday (I suppose...)!

Well, today really stinks so far.  I had a personal disappointment at home.  Although I did have time to re-watch Trojan Horse this morning.  NCIS episodes are always a good way to start the week.  I'm getting so excited about tomorrow's finale!!!

And, speaking of finales, Heroes is on tonight!!  I'm so excited!!  I expect this will be a very good episode.  I can't wait to see this whole exploding man thing unfold.  :D

The Hinky Awards for NCIS fanfics now have nominations open.  It seems a few people have gotten theirs in.  If you haven't made nominations, you should check it out.  :D

Oh, and a very special Happy Birthday to Roisin (farmergeorge)!!!!  Hope it's a great one!!!

Don't read this unless you really want TMI... [spoiler] I thought I was pregnant after 5 years of trying, and just found out I'm not.  Very depressing.  I hate depressing!  I am an upbeat person, darn it!!  I really hate when this happens.

And I updated my story yesterday, and not one person had read it or commented on it.  I feel like no one really cares anyway.  I feel like there are only 6 or 7 people even reading my story.  All these other fanfic threads get tons and tons of comments from all these different people, but all my comments are from the same 6 people (who I love and appreciate, btw).  I shouldn't even care if people are reading it.  I love it.  I love writing it.  Those that read it are very complimentary, and I love writing for them.  So why does it bother me so much when it seems like no one cares?  I have no idea.  But it does.

And it's Monday, and I'm at work and freezing my hiney off, in spite of wearing a zacket over my long sleeved shirt.

A friend of mine loaned me Season One of Prison Break A LONG time ago.  It's been sitting on my shelf, untouched, ever since. 

Well, this morning I decided to start watching the show.  I left for church and dinner after, and I'm still already on the third DVD.

This show is really excellent!  I should have listened to my friends sooner!

About season finale season I have but one thing to say.  NCIS and Heroes are really going to have to bring it on to come anywhere close to how incredibly awesome the Smallville season finale was last night!  Click here for details.
[spoiler] The Martian Manhunter was back, we found out Lionel Luthor is Jarel's emissary, we saw Chloe's power, main characters were left dead or questionably so, and we got Bizarro!! [/spoiler]  
Absolutely fantastic finale!  I couldn't be more excited!  I am definitely going to try to get in on the chat this evening when I get home from work!

Ugly Betty's finale made me teary-eyed (but it was very good), and Grey's Anatomy's finale just pissed me off.  Can't anybody ever be happy on that show?!  It's so annoying!  I'm definitely going to watch Private Practice next season, and if the writing on Grey's doesn't start improving, they'll be losing a regular viewer for sure.

On a fanfic note, terapist's story "Family Secrets" is truly excellent so far.  I like the first chapter, really liked the second and when the third was posted last night I freaked out!!  This is shaping up to be an incredible story!  If you aren't reading it, I would highly recommend you do so.

Just swinging in to say "Happy Thursday!"  I planned to post this when I wake up, but since I'm stuck up late waiting to put some clothes into the dryer (forgot some laundry hubby needs for tomorrow), I thought I'd go ahead and do my Thursday morning blog VERY EARLY.  :D

I'm feeling much better today, and hoping to have an awesome workday!  :D  Do you think that's possible?  I'm not exactly sure!

I've posted Chapter 45 of my fanfic, and am quickly nearing the end of this particular story.  I've been reading Adam's Jamie series for the first time.  It's excellent!  I can't believe I waited this long to read it.

Also, terapist posted the second chapter of "Family Secrets", and that story is absolutely fantastic!  I really enjoyed the first chapter, but the second blew me away.  I highly recommend you read this story if you aren't.  :D  Another recommendation is OzGeek's Trading McPlaces from fanfiction.net.  It is a definite must read!

Thanks bunches to Tony for shamelessly pimping my fanfic on the BORED thread yesterday.  You totally rock!  This is for you!!!!

And for my fellow Grey's Anatomy fans:

Tonight we get the season finale of Grey's Anatomy!  I'm trying to be excited!  :D  This show used to have me so excited from one episode to the next, but I think the writing took a sharp downhill turn partway through season three.  The show taking a hiatus after a storyline that was good, but not compelling, only succeeded in making me lose interest.  I'm hoping the finale is well-written and gripping enough to keep me excited about the premiere next season.

We also get the season finale of Smallville, about which I am VERY excited!  I think this has been a phenomenal season, although I don't think they've had a bad one.

Good evening, all!

As you might guess from the title of today's blog, I've been a bit under the weather.  I'm feeling some better now.  At least I didn't try to go to work today!

Only one more week until the NCIS season finale, and rumors and whacked out theories are peppering the forums, as well as our thoughts. 

At least I got to spend the majority of the day watching NCIS episodes on DVD.  I'm wrapping up Season One, and fixin' to start Season Two.

As far as my fanfic goes, I've written exactly one paragraph.  :D :lol:  Sorry!  I haven't felt much like focusing on anything.  Maybe later in the week.  Which brings me to my next point.

I am definitely going to have to refrain from accessing the Internet or even writing my fanfic during business hours, for a while at least.  Whiling away work hours wishing for something to do has quickly been replaced by being totally and completely swamped.  I can't in good conscience play during work hours while I actually have work to do.  :D  But I can still play at home!
