i had the whole thing done with the picture and everything, and i thought it needed to be longer, so i tried to cut and paste some from other parts of the picture to fill it in, but then i thought oh who am i kidding, since it was totally obvious i had cut and pasted those other parts, so i just tried to make it sort of like a scrapbook thing, instead.

it didn't take me long to make, obviously, but it took me a while to finish, since i was about half-way through when i got nailed with babysitting duty.

so, yeah, it's just a kataang banner, which i'm surprised i haven't done yet. i actually haven't made any shipping banners at all yet, come to think of it. anyway, it started out as just the little grey part with the Anti-Drug logo on it, but then i thought that looked kind of bland, so i got some screenshots off avatarspirit.net to even it out a little. i wish i could have darkened the pics a little, since them by themselves in the black backgroud is a bit too conspicuous, but hey. it's Paint. what can ya do?

p.s. finished reading Pendragon, the fourth: The Reality Bug, and now i'm reading Pendragon, the fifth: Black Waters.

if anyone remebers, i wrote a blog a few weeks back saying that my stepmom was expecting another baby. unfortuneately, i'm going to have to retract that. she had a miscarriage today. so no new baby. we knew something like this might happen since it hasn't been that long since the last baby was born, but it's still sad.

i can't believe how un-upset evryone is. i mean, don't get me wrong, everyone's still a little bummed out right now. i guess it's because my stepmom was expecting this (the doctor told her there was a possibility), and she's had a miscarriage before about ten-ish years ago, and my dad was more worried about my stepmom's health when he found out about it, so i guess he's just counting his blessings.

but i expected tears, crying, and giant vats of consolation ice cream to be involved. maybe it's because they weren't trying to have this baby. they weren't planning on having another baby until next year at the very least. so no one's really all that sad surprisingly. i guess if there not sad, i shouldn't be either.

i'm probably the most bummed about this in the entire family. i love my little sister to bits, but i really wanted a little brother. my sister's not really showing any signs of being sad (although i secretly suspect she is descended from an alien-robotic race, and therefor immune to human emotion), but she already got the baby sister she said she wanted (and what am i, a sheep?), so i guess this didn't hit her all that hard. my parents say they still want another baby, so i guess they might have one next year, but i'm still kind of bummed about this.

you guys don't have to reply to this if you don't want to. everything's okay, i just needed to tell someone, and i couldn't tell my friends because all they do is give me a hug and tell me everything's going to be all right, and that's nice and all, and i appreciate it, but it doesn't really help, you know. i just needed to vent.

i made this myself, i guess that's kind of obvious, on paint. it took forever, even if it doesn't look like much because, as always, i had to sit there and blot out the stupid nick splats. but i can't sleep anyway, since the ac in our house is broken. :P

well, due to a bout of insomnia, and about two hours' hard effort, i finally finished it. it's mainly just some toph pics from her fight scene in The Blind Bandit.

i'll probably shrink it down eventually, but i'm just too tired right now. my eyes hurt from staring at the computer screen. but i still can't sleep, so i'm going to see if i can make some headway on the Pendragon book i'm reading, The Never War. i'm about halfway done.

as much as it kills me to say this, i'll have to leave for a while. i never get to get on tv.com at all anymore! marching band is taking over my life! between homework, school hours, and band rehearsal, i barely have time for anything anymore! and the only time i have a spare minute is on the weekends, but i spend those at my mother's house, and i never have any computer time over there.

i never get to get on tv.com anymore. i only ever have to time to post something like "what did i miss?" but then i have to get off again, so i never get to see what anybody wrote about what i missed anyway! so i'm letting you guys know officially, that i won't be one hardly at all this week, and next week, and probably for many weeks to come. (with the exclusion of next monday, which is, thank god, Labor Day, but i might be spending that with my mom, so i may not have computer time after all.)

i'm so happy that i won't have rehearsal tomorrow morning, thank you god. unfortuneately, no practice in the morning means three-hour practice in the afternoon.

but yeah, tomorrow, we won't be out in the concrete area where we usually practice, we're going to be out on the turf, which is about twenty degrees hotter than the concrete.

so major highlight for this weekend: i went to my friend morgan's b-day party and my bf (the one that looks like rupert grint) was there, and we all got roped into playing truth or dare, and my DARLING step-brother dared my bf to make out with me.

i'm going to pummel him into the ground like the miserable worm he is the next time i see him.
