another day out in the hot sun scrapng paint. woke up at 6:15, fell asleep, woke up at 7:00, panicked that i was so late, skipped breakfast, worked my butt off all day, and now i am starving because i skipped dinner last night, because i wasn't hungry, and today i skipped breakfast because i didn't have time to eat, so i haven't eaten in 24 hours.

on the plus side, a friend of mine that is also at mission mckinney with me is fixing me up with a friend of hers.

whoo-hoo!

well, that's about all for today. i just scraped paint. thank god, we finally finished scraping paint! now we get to move onto the actual painting part.

yay?

well, i got to go wash up because i am covered in paint flakes and dirt from being outside all day.

i am freaking exhausted! i woke up at 6:15 a.m. and i have been out all day scraping paint!

my church youth group does this thing every year, where the junior and senior high kids go to different houses and help fix them up for people who can't afford it. well, i love doing this stuff for people, seriously i do, but i am exhausted.

my blisters have blisters!

today, we scrape paint, tomorrow we scrape paint, and then wednesday, we repaint the whole thing, so it looks all nice and pretty. right now, i have about three hours of relaxation before i have to leave for the rally, then i go back to my church, sleep, wake up at 6:15 a.m. tomorrow morning and go out and scrape some more paint.

i am super excited about this weekend, because yours truly has landed her first job! YAY!! a friend of my stepmom's runs a catering company and is short on staff. now you may be thinking, why in the world would anyone want to spend a whole saturday night bussing tables until midnight?

well, that question can easily be answered.

ten bucks an hour baby.

of course, it's only for this weekend. it's not like i'll be doing this every weekend. but hey, it's a start.

nothing else new here except i'm trying to get to level 3. i don't get it, i've seen a dude around here with, like 70 posts and he's a level four, and i'm thinking okay, what a ripoff. so there must be something that i don't know about because i've been on level two four weeks and it sucks, cause i've got a really pretty banner that i can't put up on my signature until i'm a level 3.

okay, i realize how incredibly girly i just sounded right there.

only other thing i'm having a problem with right now is how to make a review about a show. i mean to post a blog, the button is, like, bright orange it says "new blog post", not that hard to miss, but i think the review button is, like, hiding or something, 'cause i can't seem to find it anywhere.

i can only assume this is another level 3 thing.

pfft.

hey. this is my first blog post, so i'll just tell you a bit about myself. i'm fourteen, i have characteristic brown-red hair, brown eyes, and freckles, and glasses. i'm the daughter of divorced parents and i have a stepmom and a stepdad, plus a sister, a step-brother, and two step-sisters who are both in college, and a four-month old half-sister. we all live in the same city, except for the ones in college.

let's see, what else? i'm an Avatar fanatic, and even bigger Harry Potter fanatic. i'm dead serious, you can't find a bigger Harry Potter fan than me. i play the saxophone... i act... i read a lot... i'm not into any sports... i'm a taurus, year of the monkey... and that's about it.

nothing new is happening in my life, except school is out. i'm moving into mjy dad's house for the summer, because my mom and stepdad are trying to sell our their house, and apparently my sister and i clash with the decor.

well, that's all. that's pretty much my life right now, seeing as i don't have school. btw.
