Who didn't see this coming? Why do people act surprised, I'm not happy about it but I understand that day one was always going to be a mess. I made sure to take the day AFTER release off...When it's a HUGE title that require servers, it's gonna crash and burn out the gate.
Give me stick figures and new gameplay over....slightly better looking rehash... Kinda how it doesn't matter how attractive you are on the outside if you are a major b***h. I mean, yea you look good, but I still wish you were dead..
Get to work on my legacy of Kain reboot! TR too, but don't forget about LoK! At least they want time to make it work and not ship a turd with the intent to just patch later.
Why stop there? We need all games to become clones of our most successful franchises, that will help sell them. CoD:Vanquish, BF:Souls. Vanquish would have been an instant buy for me if the campaign wasn't so short from what I heard. Give more bang for your buck, but it doesn't HAVE to be MP to achieve this. I hated GoW's MP, from the "leet" community of 7 yr olds, to trying to take cover every time I run anywhere, to the annoying shotty matches that had everyone rolling around and around with out an end in sight. MP=/= good game or sales.
RE doesn't exactly have the reputation it once had. 5 was rejected by the long time fans as a huge letdown and raccoon city followed that trend. Add in shaky business practices and incentives to wait a few months for more for less and I really doubt this will sell well.
Can't wait for 40 years into the future when presidential campaigns are slinging old Facebook photos of possible candidates drinking and committing crimes and acting surprised. This isn't Highlander, twitter is not sacred ground that is off limits. There can only be one twit tweeting!
