Personally, I played both, and they're both awesome!

Yakuza: Good combat, especially when you're a little advanced in the game. The longer you play, the higher Kazuma's level (Yes, Kazuma is the playable character), and the longer his health and stamina becomes. As long as you're walking around in the streets, you'll get to fight someone. The fights and the realistic lifestyle in this game is absolutely fantastic. You can fight, gamble, go to clubs, gaming shops, groceries, pharmacies, and even ride a taxi to go from one far side of the city to the other (mostly you'll walk on foot).

Bully: This game is good actually, but what I hate about it is that you're bound to times like Curfew and if the time passes 2 am your player faints, which does not happen in GTA. Aside from that, Bully is a great game IF you're not an underage.

So, finally, take my word and go with ((((Yakuza))), but make sure it's an English version, so you can understand (unless you can understand Japanese).
