-those who like classic arcade games with updated graphics, online leaderboards, etc.

PS3:

-those who like action/adventure, fighters, racing, rpg's etc

-those who wantwifi, free online, battery packs etc

-those who want to watch hd movies as well as play games

-(for all models apart from 40gb) those who like andwant to play a large range of ps1 and ps2 games

omg, u just cant win these days, if they gave it a 10 people would be flooding the place saying they are a playstation magazine and therefore are biased. Now that they have given it a non-biased, well justifiedscore 9is bad news?

both you statments fail so bad. Sixaxis is great in folklore, warhawk, graw2, resistance, and i enjoyed it in motorstorm. second online on PS3>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>wii
the wiis online play isa joke, and i have no problem adding people to my friends list, inviting them to games, and no problem with connection speed on my ps3

The sixaxis in heavenly sword was also awesome, most fun ive had with it yet, though i havent played warhawk, graw2 or folklore yet.

I tried taking a screen capture of a full screen sized video of that cutscene, but it got all pixelated and I didn't really wanna waste my time finding a better one. But the screen you posted is what I'm talking about. There's not much detail in the face, it's only the animations that trick people into thinking the character models are better. I mean just look at how bland that face is compared to Sheperd, or that Alien, or Fenix. V_Isle

Yeah its a shame Nariko's face doesn't have more facial hair, cuts and wrinkles.

Back on topic, mass effect looks awesome, but the story and gameplay looks to be the highlight, which is even better.

I thought this topic was about the media in genral not just gamespot.

Ofcourse there is no way to prove a bias as all reviews are opinions and you cant tell a reviewer that they should of had a better time with the game.

However what i think everyone is talking about is the reasons why ps3 games lose marks.

eg R: FOM: game play and visual style good but unoriginal?, no online co op

Halo 3: saved films dosnt work properly, dumb AI

Also just because more xbox/360 games have floped over ps2/ps3 and GC/wii means nothing, were mot talking about last gen, remember the ps3 is not the ps2, the 360 is not the xbox

The only point that I fully agree with is #3 (the price coming down). Other then that, it cant be a good thing that a system is missing a feature.

That is like saying its a good thing the 360 dosn't have a hd dvd player as standard, the only advantage is the lower price.
