My review
I played Xbox live after buying a month card, for what aounts to less then a bag of crispsm, because MS is a company out to make profit.
I went to market place to download some maps, but realised that as its a marketplace, things are for sale,as devs like to make money also.
I booted up GeOW and got stuck into a match, with a 13 yr old texan,he was shoutin his mouth off,i was rather amused as he talked the talk but had the skill to back it up.
I then played PSN,and aside from the terrible interface, the 12 people online, the horrible friends list,it was free ,so thats fine
I then tried to play Warhawk,as it come s with a free mic,i assumed would be in use,i was wrong.
XBOX LIVE 9/10 - it could be free
PSN 6/10 - it works.....and its free....

My "review"
I played PSN over my wireless connection without buying a month card because its free.
I went to the playstation store and downloaded some new themes for free.
I realised that as its a market place things are for sale, as devs like to make money also. So i purchased Pixeljunk Monsters for what amounts to less then a bag of crisps and played for a few hours.
I then popped in warhawk and strategized with my friends on how to beat the other team.
Then I went to my friends house to play Halo while listening to kids swearing at eachother and he complained to me about spending $170 on a wireless adaptor and another $100 for a 1yr XBL subscription (AU)
XBL - 6/10: makes you pay needlesly
PSN - 9/10: has everything you need and is free
It all depends on what your looking for in an online experience, which is why there is no winner in this argument (the PSN vs XBL argument that is).
