It says beta on the footage, so yes it is beta. Anyway yeah the graphics look fine, and can only improve from here.

In my opinion Halo 2 is extremely boring and repetitive and makes me want to smash my head against a wall every time I try to give it a chance.

First of all, it won't be only 10 hours long. There's basically a solar system to explore, and if Oblivion can have graphics AND long gameply both, than Mass Effect can too.

Second, I would still buy it.

Why should they? It sells like hotcakes, sure, but what comes out on the 360 can't come out on the Wii in the same way. With the PS3, you've got some graphical competition, a console that is able to handle high-budget nextgen graphics games, just as the 360 does. So, if you've got a major 3rd part game coming out on the 360, there's always the chance that it can go to PS3 as well, because the PS3 can handle it.

The Wii, however, doesn't have that graphical element. A game coming out for 360 would have to be toned down a great deal to be able to run on the Wii, and then you have to take the controller into account.

so then that would mean that more resources can be used to make the game look better.....we'll see just how good GT looks on the PS3 once there's more than 1 car on the track and once there's a damage model introduced to the series. Forza 2 looks incredible when you consider how amazing the physics and damage modeling are for a console racer. Turn 10's first attempt at a sim racer outscored PD's 4th full sim racer. One can be certain that the Forza series hasn't taken ANY steps backwards. They've only improved on an excellent game and the overall package is what matters here. Not just graphics.

i am pissed because i would rather be able to drive to walmart right now, get a new 360 and be playing tonight, rather than having to wait at least 3 weeks for ms to send me another one.l0n3lyn4t3

Honestly, you should just go to the Wal-Mart anyway and try and return in. I bet they'd take it and give you a new one.
