And this is why you go through Best Buy, they don't do this crap, your 360 could by the day you got it and a replacement plan, take it and you get a new one, that easy.

One thing you shouldn't have done, called Walmart, there might have been a chance to get Walmart to replace the thing if you went through the store ;)

Yeah, I got mine at Circuit City, and it broke the NEXT DAY. The day after Christmas, and my brand spankin' new Xbox 360 **** the bed... I was so pissed. But since I got it at Circuit City, I walked in, said it didn't work anymore, and they gave me a brand new one in five minutes.

I think a Korean War game would be pretty interesting. Largely the same weapons and such from WW2 games, but a different backdrop, and some very, very intense conflicts. You've got amazing air combat, beach invasions, engagements between armored divisions, tough ground combat, and then with the entrance of the Chinese into the war you've got yourself a brutal struggle for survival against a numerically superior force. I think a Korean War game would be great, honestly.

I don't see anything next gen in Oblivion other than graphics. I could easily say that it is Morriwind gameplay with next gen visuals, so I don't really get your statement about Halo 3. Bungie is also held down by the fact that they need to keep long time players happy, so they can't really divert from the same old Halo formula.

Since we haven't seen anything other than alpha and beta footage of Halo 3 it is still way too early to start commenting on this. Wait until something more concrete is released before analyzing it.

IMAO Oblivion is way more next gen than Halo 3. It's the amazing open nature, and the fact that at least 5 different kind of games co-existed so harmonically. No, morrowind didn't have that authenticity. As for Halo 3, it is plain stupidity to give the exact same gameplay just because it is popular. I mean, Metroid Prime in GC had a completely new gameplay that boosted the experience in the previous gen. Halo is just ... Halo.

And about 99% of people who have been playing Halo since Halo 1 want just that... Halo. We don't a revolutionized game. We want the same long-standing gameplay to be brought over with flashier graphics. You are entitled to your opinion, but only speak for yourself.

[QUOTE="Thebettertwin"]mistake to focus FPS's on PS3 seeing how **** the controller is 4 it and that the 360 is the king of shooters D_Znuhtz

The controller is so "****" that Xbox continues to copy it to this day. Remember the original Xbox controller? Ever try and lift it?

I liked "The Duke." Of course I preferred the Controller S, but The Duke was a great controller, and I was only 11 when I first got the Xbox.

Back on-topic, I say good for the PS3. EA, however, doesn't make much in the way of good first person shooters.. in fact, EA has a reputation for ruining once good franchises (see: Medal of Honor). But hey, the PS3 needs some more games, so I say good for them.

In my opinion, Western games have always been better. I hate anime and al the spiky-haired adolescents in anime and in the rest of Japanese games. Just not my style.

Excerpt: Not long ago, llama.com dissected the Xbox 360 Elite to see what's inside the new black box. Without boring you with all the technical details, the Xbox 360 Elite has three major improvment over its predecessor....Well you get a 120GB Fujitsu MHW2120BH 2.5" laptop drive harddrive which costs 100 dollar....one of the major difference that set the PS3 and Xbox apart was the price (eventhough this is hugely psychological after you add all the accessory cost), but MS has shorten that psychological barrier to entry for the PS3 owners by 180 dollar...

..sad
