Bungie has said that the final version will look like the E3 06 trailer.

And Sony said that Killzone 2 will look as good as the trailer.

As much as I love Bungie (I do, trust me) you can't believe everything every developer says.

 And no, that is not in CGI. That was all in-engine.. not in-game, but in-engine, running on an Xbox 360. It was not CGI.

Killzone 2 on the other hand... I still find it funny that Sony claimed it was real in-game footage.

 Actually, yes. I don't hate those games per se, some of them are even American in style. I would not buy any of those games if they came out for the 360.

I'm sorry you don't like my opinion. 

I hate WoW so freaking much. So many of my friends from school and other people I know have become extremely addicted. They all just sit in a circle talking about what the did in WoW last night, and it pisses me off so much because their life is just an online game. Hey, I love my video games too, but playing until SEVEN in the morning on a school night, just to end up getting ONE hour of sleep? I'd never slip that far.iammason

I AM NOT SAYING PC FPS ARE DEAD, I AM JUST SAYING THAT HALO WARS WILL OPEN RTS TO CASUALS JUST AS HALO OPENED UP FPS FOR CASUALS, AND THEREFORE MANY RTS DEVELOPMENT WILL GO ON THE CONSOLES AS MUCH AS THE PC!

The only genre consoles are not better at than PC (LOL) is the RTS genre. However, consoles are going to take that genre from the PC as the consoles took FPS from the PC last gen. With many console RTS going multiplat to Xbox 360 (such as Command and Conquer and LOTR), it's inevitable. But what will be the "killer-app" will be Halo Wars.

Half-Life sold 8 million, while Half-Life 2 sold only 4 million. This is because Halo made PC FPS almost obsolete and people moved to consoles for FPS. So just as Halo killed PC FPS', Halo Wars will kill PC RTS'. Of course the PC will still have a great load of RTS' but by the end of this generation the RTS genre will make a conversion to consoles just as FPS did last generation.

 I'm an Xbox 360 fan - not a fanboy - but until I can buy a keyboard and mouse for my 360, RTS games will ALWAYS be better on the PC. I don't care how the update the controls, mouse and keyboard is ALWAYS better for RTS games.

And yet, they remain optional. If it's too expensive for you, don't buy it. If you're willing to give up the money, then do it. Don't complain because everything isn't free. 

First off, who honestly cares about online in a game like this? It is 10000x more fun having your buddy standing next to you playing than with some 12 year old half a world away.

 Second, you do not have to download the extra content. On the 360 the game comes with all the songs available on the PS2 version, plus 10 more, and the ones available for download right now are from the first game. 

So, what are you complaining about?
