LS owns everything. OB4CL comes somewhat close, but LS just blows the rest away imo. elpoozDepends on what your looking for. Strictly from a lyrical standpoint LS is the best, but OB4CL is RZA's best production outing. I'm a sucker for production, so for that reason most times I would pick OB4CL over LS.
[QUOTE="-Methtical-"][QUOTE="-Halftime-"]The best is probly OB4CL, followed by Liquid Swords and then Ironman for me.Toriko42Mine is the same, and lol @ ranking Return to the 36 Chambers higher than Liquid Swords. Album is totally amazing, I love it. I ranked it higher cause I never get tired of it. It's one of those amazing 'chilling' albums.
Dirty Dancin
Snakes
Cuttin Headz
Brooklyn Zoo
Baby C'Mon
Shimmy Shimmy Ya
I see absolutely nothing wrong with ranking it there. All the albums are amazingly close to eachother. I think Ironman and Return to 36 Chambers are equal in my eyesI've heard the album, it's your opinion, so your entitled to it. But I could just never see myself ranking it in the top 5 solo Wu albums, I don't even really consider it a classic. It's good, but I can rarely listen to it more than once in a while and sometimes I can't even make it through it. ODB works really well as a compliment in a group, but I can't take too much of him by himself. The production is tight, it's just for me there is definitely such a thing as too much ODB. If I wanted to chill out I would definitely take OB4CL, Liquid Swords, Ironman, Tical, Supreme Clientele, Uncontrolled Substance and probably even Fishscale before I took Return to the 36 Chambers.

How are you not acting like any of your stuff doesn't stank? You say that despite listing off why all the members in your group are the top in their respective category. And I'm not denying that 4/5ths of your squad has good chemistry, it's the relevance of the members that I'm calling into question. Lauryn is a pretty good rapper, a much better singer and I wouldn't have said anything if you had nominated her your singer since she is one of my favorites in hip hop (singer, that is). But you act like she's the female Rakim or something, which against competition of other females I guess could be right, but compared to some of these legends she doesn't even rank. Wyclef is cool and all, a good musician and he has an awesome voice, but I just don't like his music much. Badu is again OK, with you again overrating her albums because I wouldn't even give any of her albums a top 20 ranking, as far as R&B goes. I like Questlove production but hearing Wayne over it would sound a bit like when he jacking outlandish beat for one of his mixtapes and ends up not doing anything interesting. I guess if you like the beats that Wayne gets than I don't really know how to argue, because I just hear him making a fool out of himself on tracks like Phone Home and almost cringe. If you think that stuff like Got Money and Phone Home are "good ****" then I guess we just have very different tastes. He could be a very good artist if he stuck with producers that would give him beats that would really compliment his style, and be more selective with them. Oh and if I wanted a gritty verse, I don't think Wayne would be very high up on my list.
Oh and for my favorite Fugees song it is definitely "Ready or Not," which I believe is about death but I could be wrong because I haven't listened to it a whole lot. It also has my favorite Wyclef quote:
Gun blast, think fast I think I'm hit
My girl pinch's my hips to see if I still exist
I think not, I send a letter to my friends
A born again, hooligan only to be king again
As far as a Lauryn quote goes I can't really think of one off the top of my head because I'm not sure it would definitely be in a Fugees song like I was with Wyclef, so I may need a minute to think of my absolute favorite, but I'll leave you with this gem for now:
And even after all my logic and my theory, I add a mother ****** so you ignorant ******s hear me.
I like the Fugees and Lauryn I just don't like them as much you clearly do, I'm not saying they're bad. I guess I didn't need to step up for this guy, but I was merely starting conversation because this topic could be really cool if people talked about it.
And this isn't meant to be a personal attack or anything I'm just discussing my opinion of your squad.
EDIT: I haven't listened to enough Lauryn to know what song that two percentile reference is from, but all I can remember is her comparing herself to gamma rays in next line or something.
