[QUOTE="FusionApex"]Well I guess it's different since its for a console, and it was described being " a breeze" to create things in the game.Overthrow

I suppose that's the attraction. I don't like sounding like a hater, it's just that I could see this getting old, fast, due to the overall lack of editing options. You create shapes, but where is the variety in mechanics?

It's a basic side scrolling platformer with a level editor.

This may be true, will it be all platform stuff. Or can you build enemies and have spawn points and stuff this what we need.

We need a FPSgame/map/character creator type game.

I don't know it seems pretty cool.

I wonder if you can invent a jumping kangaroo that shoots lasers ?

Gears could have been so much more if there had been attention payed to things like story and character development... but no, Epic decided it just wanted to deliver a casual action-fest to satiate the palates of the casual 360 gamers. The story had so much potential and yet they hardly ever explained ANYTHING. If Epic had spent another year expanding and polishing the game I think it could have been so much better, I myself find it hard to believe that it scored a 9.6 GOTY here on GS.foxhound_fox

Dude its a trilogy , I'm sure the story will be fleshed out.

Well not all opinions can be right. Such as yours on this particular topic.

And what kinda of stuff is that when you said you wanted to like it, you either like it or you don't.

I think you don't know what you want and you are punishing us for it.

Man Forza looks terrible, for a sim anyway.Overthrow

Too bad gameplay is more important than graphics in a sim.

And in other news Ford Escapes outsells Chevy Tahoe.
