Yeah, there's no way a sequel to 2009's GoTY for competative multiplayer and FPS of the year, beating out Halo ODST and Halo 3's Online, could POSSIBLY be as good as the Halo franchise, right?

...please it was something different..it got that new car feeling, but after a week you realized it sucked.

Really? I'm on my 7th run through campaign, and have invented quite a large amount of time in online multiplayer. After a week, I had all my abilities unlocked, and was ready to actualy get the full expeirence of the game.

Then again, you were probably a scrub who maybe got half way through multiplayer before dropping it due to having a horrid KDR (if you even played it at all). KZ2 is quality, and is still played to this day. While it may be a niche title due to it's controls, it doesn't stop it from being one of the best FPS games made this gen.

Played the single player once and thats all it took. It was just cheese around. Now the lighting in the game was very good but everything else has meh.

And the story sucked, wait what the hell was the story?

The controls were atrocious and the fire on that flame thrower was awful.

The boring enemies and the lnear gameplay was just too much.

Stop comparing KZ to Halo.

Its just wrong to compare a subpar game like KZ to a quality title like Halo.

Seriously its not right.

bphan

I agree 100%. I'm always left scratching my head when these two games are compared.

I mean really

KZ flopped, then KZ2 got handed a PD0 score.

Halo has always been AAA, so please just stop with comparisons.

[QUOTE="ProudLarry"]Halo is generic, and didn't do anything that Half-Life and other FPSs hadn't done better. If anyone is going to get credit for popularizing FPS on consoles, its Rare with Goldeneye and Perfect Dark. Hell, even Turok deserves about as much credit as Halo in some regards. As for the CoD series, they're nothing more than glorified rail shooters. Avian005

Halo is NOT generic. No one ever explains why they think it is. And yes, Halo wasn't the first to do many things, but it brought them all into one package very well.

I do agree PD and Goldeneye were released first and weregreat games, but Halo did popularize FPS on consoles.

Kinda like Uncharted 2, it didn't do anything new but the level of polish is it what made it a great title.

Move is just a differnt way to control the same type of game its scam and a farce.

Eventually you will go back to the DS3 for multiplayer, the Move being marketed for the "hardcore: is to just get you to buy anther controller for a game you already have a controller for.

Its a scam big time and all you who are so up on Move for hardcore games are just going to waste cash on something you don't need.

Using both would be good I think.

But I think we are totally missing the point of Kinect. If I want to play "hardcore" games I'll use my 360 controller, which is the best controller ever made imo.

Why do we insist on trying to make the Kinect play these so called "hardcore" games? Its not being made for that. Its being made for the Wii style fitness games and party style games.

If we can view Kinect in this manner, I do believe we could all learn to see thepotential of it, instead seeing it as a negative.

Killzone isno where near the quality of Halo.

Yes I've played both, and Killzone was way crappier than Halo. Although the scripted events and lighting werevery goodin Killzone, but everything else was low res and ugly.

But I never liked the sixaxis and its dated control scheme so that may have also contributed to me not really liking it.

And let me add that Killzone also felt generic as heck.

Halo is the top dog of console FPS shooters and that won't change untll KZ gets higher scores, better community support and more variation to its gameplay.
