i have a ps3 but this sounds good if true and hopefully no RROD...seriously that was the thing that made me stay away from the 360..but i still want it so bad. SiKh22

You have a 3 year warranty from MS. They send you a box and everything.

There is zero reason not to get a 360 if you want one.

thanks for the comment. do 360 break a lot or are they pretty reliable? (i dont want to have to trade in a 360 agian and agian) also how much is the warinty? (2 years). and is that a good deal?

Its pretty reliable but I would get the MS warranty for 50 bucks and it covers everything.

If something happens they send you box to ship it back. Its pretty cool.I think thats for like 2 or 3 yrs.

There have been many hintings that microsoft is getting ready to announce a new console sometime soon. However, they alreay tried jumping the gun with the 360 and it has had massive hardware problems. Why would they risk having the same problem again and replace a system that is doing fairly well in the the middle of it's lifecycle and probably at the peak of its potential?? Why rush a console just to be 1st and potentially lose billions.ravine1

They messed up with some manufacturing issues with Xbox 360. Lets not forget that the original Xbox didn't have any hardware issues.

So it was unfortune it what happen to the 360 but its being addressed and I would expect the next Xbox to be very reliable.

Plus didn't they say the next console in 2010 at the earliest. thats like more the 2 years away.

Gears of War 2 will not score a 10.

It doesn't have the nostalgia factor.

GTA4 and MGS4 had that going for them, so that took them over the edge while other games may have had some of the same issues, the flaws would not be overlooked.

RRoD is no longer a factor.

You buy a 360 if it gets a RRoD you send it back and get a fixed one for like 3 yrs.

Plus you can request an updated version as well, so I'v heard.
