also this is post that should end this thread already
cpu - Q9450 (you have the money for it so buy it)
mobo - DFI LP DX X48
gpu - 8800gts 512mb
ram - crucial ballistix ddr2 800 (2X2GB)
psu - corsair vx550w or corsair tx650w psu (some sites have this psu for as low as the vx550w psu)
case - cooler master centurion RC590
HDD - your choice just saty at or above 7200RPM
dvd/cd drive bay/burner
OS - windows vista home premium 64bit
now the Q9450 is better then the Q6600 and will last longer the difference might not be much but will be for certain applications and if you have the money buy it right ?
as for the video card the 8800gts 512mb is a great card make sure you buy the G92 version cuz there are two other crds but there based on the G80 core
the 4 gigs of ram will help with vista seeing as how recommened is 2 gigs so 4 gigs will rmake it much smoother maybe not for games but for running the pc yes
the x48 board is a great overclocker and is crossfire capable which is a good thing becuase by summer they will be relaseing the 4800 sereis cards by ATI so if you want to trade the 8800gts for high end cards go for it
the psu is good enough and will be good enough if you choose to crossfire cuz the 4800 series cards are meant to be less power hungry and power effecient.
good luck and happy gaming :)
