Yeah I have the same problem too with my Microeconomics professor, we just couldn't understand his lecture at all because of his accent. This worst part is he doesn't put notes up at all, we pretty much have to study from our texts to get an A. Anyway my hardest course this semester is Elements and Principal of Physics, there's something about his exam that just seem hard.
My relationship with my parents is great, though throughout college it has seperated us (as its supposed to). My dad's expectations were always extremely high (Anything below a 3.5 on a 4.0 gpa scale was bad). As I grew up I came to the realization that they way they raised me was for the benefit of my own self. For the most part they let me live my own teenage years the way I wanted (no curfew, go to any parties, etc) as long as I kept my priorities straight.
