I'm sort of in the transition mode right now as far as exercise. I lost about 100lbs a little over a year ago by doing straight up cardio. I'm very lean right now but a lot less volume as far as muscle than I really want. (If you must know, I was about 270lbs, now at about 173 and can do a 5mph jog for 6 miles without much strain except for the knees).
Just started a heavy weight lifting routine (with small cardio before and after) with my roommate, drinking whey protein in the morning and after lifting and I can tell you that it's already making a difference. The main thing to remember is that things like this take time. Just like UrbanSpartan said, keep it up and you'll be proud once you make your goal.
I'm gonna have to agree to some extent. The last game I played that really took me by surprise was Shadow of the Colossus just because the whole game is based on huge bosses.
Yeah, I do struggle with it. I used to be 270lbs and realization hit me that I need to lose some weight, so now a little more than a year later I'm at 172lbs and have been struggling to lose those last bits of body fat and gaining muscle mass.
It's a long process, and having those ugly stretch marks don't help any even though I'm pretty skinny now.
Well, if there are any farmers out here I think they would agree wih me when I say that cleaning grain bins sucks big time. Slump3317
I will agree with you there. I will also add putting up new fence posts as a huge hatred of mine as well. Luckily college saved me from doing those things for awhile :P
