leader of fatah has been holding peace talks with israel what has happened nothing.

So? What are you trying to say here? That it is exclusively Israel's fault?

the thing hamas was funded by israel, you can look it up, to create a drift between fatah so there would be no palestinian state,

Do you have any FACTUAL evidence to support this, or is it just one of those conspiracy theories?

if israel wants peace so badly, why illegal settlements being developed,

The illegal settlements are created by Israeli right-wing extremists who believe that the land is rightfully theirs (a legitimate argument, in my opinion), not by the Israeli government. Every once in a while IDF forces raid an illegal settlement and clear all the settlers in it, but it's kind of hard to do so constantly when they have to position their forces in so many places (Gaza border, Lebanon border, etc.).

why are towns like sderot on palestian land, accrding to the u.n.

Do you mean the 1947 partition plan? It has been irrelevant ever since the Arabs rejected it, how can you bring that as an argument? Israel's current borders have been determined by wars, not by any sort of agreement.

So who cares if hamas are terrorist israel is commiting war crimes and israel was founded on terrorism by terrorist organistations such irgun, which several important members government/ zionist movement were part of.

Yeah, except that "terrorist" organizations like the Irgun didn't target innocent civilians in their attacks, unlike some other terrorist group I know of.

it just shows how far these people were willing to go to secure land- greed! How much people will die until zionist realise, it was irresponisble to put our people before the native people and make them refugees. there are countless minorities across the world that have been persecuted but you dont see them starting up new countries displacing millions.

So you're saying that only the Arabs were the natives in Palestine? Oh, you are so wrong.

Well as The Game said once, 'Hate it or love it the underdog's on top
And I'm gonna shine homie until my heart stop' Hamas will still be around.
Joker_268

As long as Hamas is around, there will never be a Palestinian state.

If you are pro-Palestinian, you need to be happy every time a Hamas member is killed.

Actually, if you would take the time to read news articles, you'd realize that hamas had stopped firing rockets back when the ceasefire was original called. They started firing rockets again after months of israeli blockades still being in place. Proof: "rocket firing was soon stopped and there was an increase in supplies of food, water, medicine and fuel. Yet the increase was to an average of about 20 percent of normal levels. And this fragile truce was partially broken on Nov. 4, when Israel launched an attack in Gaza to destroy a defensive tunnel being dug by Hamas inside the wall that encloses Gaza. ' Excerpt from; An Unnessecary War by....guess who? Jimmy Freaking Carter thats who. Vandalvideo

After reading this post, I'm seriously starting to doubt the credibility of your sources.

The cease-fire went into effect on June 19th, 2008.

Then, on June 24th, rockets were fired towards Israel. That was a clear violation of the cease-fire.

If I'm not mistaken, June 24th isn't "months" or even "weeks" after the cease-fire started.

And that was just the start of the cease-fire. There were many other cases like this in the following months.

It is unfortunate that Mr. Carter ignores months of never-ending rocket fire on Israeli towns.

To quote an Israeli imbeded repoter; "And here's another false Israeli assumption: that Hamas is a terrorist organization. In fact, it's also a genuine national and religious movement supported by most of the people in Gaza. It cannot be simply bombed away.' -Segey's article in the washington post.Vandalvideo

It's not an assumption, it's a fact: Hamas is a terrorist organization. The United States knows it. The European Union knows it. Many other nations know it but won't admit it.

I don't care how much support it has within the Palestinians, it's still a terrorist organization, and Israel cannot allow them to control the population in Gaza.

israel was the first to break the ceasefire, thats a fact, plus you still build illegal settlements and the town which is most vunerable by hamas rockets actually belongs to palestine, according to the U.N, hence its illegal occuaption.ffaf666

No, Hamas broke the cease-fire on June 24th, 2008. That was the sixth day of the cease-fire.

I told you to read what i said, Hamas was ELECTED BY THE PALASTINIAN PEOPLE, so Israel didnt like that, (Hamas being elected), so they surround gaza by building the wall. and stoped first aid going in and (what i said at the begigning)

Joker_268

Hamas was elected by the Palestinian people to represent them IN THE PALESTINIAN PARLIAMENT. The elections DID NOT grant them the right to rule Gaza.

Hamas took control of Gaza BY FORCE in June of 2007, NOT as a result of the 2006 elections.

It amazes me how people fail to see the difference between those two events.

maybe hamas is firing rockets in despire because you have been starving the people in gaza. why dont we call israel a terrorist state, they have been using chemical weapons and killing high percentage of innocents. considering israel had 2 terrorist presidents, taking part in assainations of U.N officials and bombing of hotels, its a bit ironic getting angry at hamas considering these very importnat zionist believed in using terror to secure land.ffaf666

But Hamas started firing rockets BEFORE the blockades. :|

The main goal of the blockades was to put pressure on Hamas to stop firing rockets. Hamas never stopped firing rockets, so Israel never lifted the blockade completely.

It's not a complex equation, really.

Hammas wants to destroy destroy israel, but hammas and everyone knows that its IMPOSSIBLE, because of the military advantage israel has. And how do u know that hammas is a 'terrorist' organisation, youv been watching CNN! Please dont come here with opinions based on the media in the us, because what you see there is not even half of whats really going on. You wana see whats going on i recommend Aljazeera.Joker_268

If Hamas truly believes that it is impossible to destroy Israel, then why did they start launching rockets into Israel?

And in case you didn't know, Hamas is classified as a terrorist organization by both the US and the EU. It isn't any kind of propaganda by the media, it is simply the truth that you refuse to acknowledge.

It is, indeed, very unfortunate and I can't say I support this specific act.

However, one incident doesn't necessarily represent the morality of an entire military. Unless you can prove that using civilians as human shields is a widely-used tactic by the IDF, this incident means very little in terms of the IDF's policy.

Wasn't there a story about the Israeli using a palestinian kid strapped to a car?
