[QUOTE="Swordsman_96"]

OK, one question.

I have a game which can run in 1080p . MY X360 res. is 1920x1080. doesn't it mean that the game will run in 1080p?

Swordsman_96

If your monitor supports 1080p resolution yes, if not and say your monitor supports up to 720p the monitor will downscale the video from 1080p to 720p. If your monitor has to downscale you will suffer quality loss. It is best to keep the 360 at 720p (native resolution) and your monitor at it's native resolution (whether 480p, 720p, 1080i, or 1080p) or a dynamic resolution setting.

and my question is like the first question, how can i know if my monitor supports 1080p, because it only says 1920x1080 on the box

1920x1080 means that your monitor will support full HD or 1080p resolution.

[QUOTE="El_Zo1212o"]Seems odd to me that MS would keep GTA5 under wraps at E3... that alone keeps me skeptical about this little announcement. What is GamesCom that it would get the GTA announcement instead of E3, the biggest game show of the year? SEANSEXYUNDIES

Maybe the just wanted to have an E3 centered around kinect and nothing to much more? When is this gamescon cause I won't be here at the end of the month

Gamescon is in mid-August I believe. Back on topic, I'm a little skeptical I really don't think Microsoft would set a definitive price this early before the holiday season.

GRAW supports those resolutions natively, so if the resolution on your 360 is set to 720p and your HDTVs resolution is set to 720p the game will display at 720p so on and so forth. With that said, If your 360 is set to display at 1080p it will upscale the video (from the game's native resolutions) to display at 1080p, however, if your TV is only able to display up to 720p the TV will downscale the video feed back to 720p (this will make the video look grainy and overall just bad, not to mention it causes excess strain over your equipment.) Here's a suggestion...leave your 360 set to display at 720p (mainly so it doesn't do any unnecessary work) and if you have a 1080p HDTV leave it set at 1080p (the TV will do a better job at upsaling your video than your 360 will) or if you can set your TV to a dynamic resolution (it will detect the resolution of the video and display at that resolution with no scaling) do that. Help any???

Don't really think there is anything you can do about that if they are on the same remote control frequency. Might try taking this one to the xbox forums someone there may be able to help you with your problem more so than we can.

I think I understand where you are coming from but correct me if I'm wrong. You are running HDMI to your TV but have no audio out on your TV to run to your surround sound. If you do have an audio out on your TV you can run all your audio to your TV and then to the SS via that, however you will lose true 5.1 audio. If you have no audio out on your TV try this instead of chopping your original A/V to death...http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Cable-Adaptor-Microsoft-xBox-360/dp/B002P35JMO/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1278012451&sr=1-7

Edit: When I say you will not have true 5.1 this is assuming an RCA audio out. You can achieve true 5.1 audio out through an optical/digital out.

You purchase the card, you get 12 months from that card. After the 12 months is up back to silver. What did you think would happen? 360 explodez?

Dahaka-UK

Considering the 360's track record it will probably blow up sometime between activation and the 12 month limit...not after. No TC sorry to burst your bubble but after 12 months they prompt you to renew or go back to silver...
