lol no your paying $130, and thats not worth the upgradexfactor19990
My thoughts exactly, personally I'm not even going to consider a "slim" until my latest replacement bites the dust.
[QUOTE="Senor_Kami"]I've heard that MS plans on releasing a $199 version of the new console eventually. I think it was a Giant Bomb or GS article.NoDzombie
i heard this to, they are working on a $199 one which is intended to replace the arcade model, no word on whether it will have a hard drive or not though.....
They will probably just cut the wireless, maybe lower the drive space but I wouldn't expect more than that, but we are talking about Microsoft here...
I always stayed in the back as support for the other squadmates. Using the Viper you have 60 shots so you're not going to run out of ammo too quickly, when/if you run out of ammo switch to the rifle and stay back as far as possible.
I have to side with hawk and james on this. If Microsoft is going to price-drop it is going to be in the holiday season, why drop the price this early in the year if the slim won't release until later this year? That's just bad business. I say go ahead and buy now, and if you do it would be better to go ahead and get one with the largest HDD you can afford, you will run out of space fast on the smaller drives.
Your post doesn't make any sense.
1) you don't need a premiun if you already have HDD, just get a core and plug in the HDD.
2) there is no such thing as online data transfer, only gamertag recover, which is pointless when you already have HDD.
3) core = premnium = elite = whatever in terms of HD quality. New models has HDMI port, old model requires a special X360 HDMI cable similar to compoment and other cables.
4) if you plugin HDD into another core/whatever X360, purchased XBLA games are tied to your old machine thus cannot be played offline. Thus, you need to do the content right transfer from old machine to the new one. Check xbox.com.magicalclick
Agreed core is just the 360, premium is the 360 and HDD(hard disk drive). If your console is old enough that it was a "core" package it did not come with an HDMI port. The basic "arcade" models have an HDMI port but no HDD in the most basic sense still a "core" package.
