i just spent an 1 and a half download the cryostasis tech demo and before the final megabyte was downloaded the download stopped. this caused my browser to stop responding and even the download infomation box (the one with the progress of your download in it) to stop responding. im honestly very annoyed becuase this isnt the first time either its happened with the demos of crysis and bioshock as well so whats happening how can i fix this? im using vista for my os.

sorry for triple post but i thought id tell you what i found. after running around in crysis in ultra settings with 4 x aa for half an hour my gpu went from 47 c idle to 79 c under load and my processors went from 35-42 c range for idle and 51-52 c under load. so my question is how are the temps for my computer overall?

hey everyone i just downloaded speedfan to check my GPU's temprature and id like to test it whilst under load how would i go about doing that? my common sense tells me to just leave speed fan running whilst playing a game then get back to the desktop to check on the speedfan readings in real time but before i do this id thought id ask more experienced users. my GPU runs at 47 c at idle which i think is very good but then again im not sure. any help is appreciated thanks.

say you had a 22 inch monitor that could run at all kinds of crazy resolutions but you had a hdtv that could run at 1080p which is better?. now im not to clear on monitor displays and resolution my only experience is the one im currently having with my pc/hdtv combo. the tv i got can run at no higher then 1360X768 anything bigger and things on the display get cut off. this tv is 26 inch's but i read from time to time about people using monitors smaller then my tv to run a game at resolutions higher then i can. such as a 22 inch monitor running at 1060X1050 or some such. so how does this work? would i be better off getting a high end pc monitor to play my pc games on? or just carry on with what i got? id like to get the best performance i can out of my new rig coz when ive posted similiar topics people tell me im not really pushing my system at all due to the small ( i had a hard time believing that) resolution im using. any advice or tips would be great! thanks in advance.
