hey everyone. ive been playing around with some of my games today and ive always noticed that some of them offer antialiasing in some form. now i know that AA makes the defined edges of objects appear less jagged but im also aware that it can be a bit of a drain on a GPU's resources make it work harder etc. ive been trying to decide for myself if its worth me using AA or not but i honestly cant decide. so in your opinion is it worth using AA when playing games at the 1360X768 resolution or not? i cant go any higher then that. any thing higher and bits of my HUD get cut off when im playing a game (like in stalker clear sky the warning lamps for burns radiation and psych damage all get cut off).im using a GTX 280 with duo core processes at 3.0 ghz. thanks for the input.
I thought that STALKER CS had pretty good graphics. If you turn the textures and effects all the way up with antialiasing and full shadows and everything with a high resolution, the game looks amazing, and if you want you can download a graphics mod from gamespot or fileplanet. the game is really pretty, its not crysis, but its still pretty.lpjazzman220yeah clear sky looks rather good once its maximised with DX10.
