It depends on what type of RPGs you like. If you are interested in JRPGs there is a little discussed gem on the 360 that came out early in the 360's cycle called Blue Dragon. It's a pretty good game. It's been years since I played it but I have fond memories of it.

Hahaha. NIce story. It was so enthralling I hated to stop reading it.
What types of games are you most interested in? Do you have a preference or are you open to all genres?
I definitely wouldn't say it's a remake. It has that classic JRPG feel to it but with updated elements. I wouldn't call it the best JRPG in years either but there's a reason why it's rooted in retro Final Fantasy format. A lot of JRPG fans still love to play games like that (myself included). This game isn't meant to break down any barriers. It's meant to give a sense of nostalgia while enjoying upgrades to the game play.
I honestly haven't had any issues with cramping that I can recall. Jasonguy seems to have a reasonable solution though so try that. There is this one thing I do sometimes without even realizing until after I've been doing it for a while. I put both of my pinkie fingers under the system so it acts as a prop and takes tension off of my hands.
If you like a ton of really good games then you should get one. Do some research on it and see what games are out there. I don't know what kind of games you like but I'm sure there's something for you.
It really depends on what type of gamer you are. I'm extremely diverse in my gaming. I love games from almost pretty much every genre. There are some great recommendations above. I personally, am a big RPG fan and I still don't like Etrian Odyssey or Shin Megami Tensei IV. Bravely Default is good though if you can tolerate some annoying voice acting from some of the villains. Here are the games I have that I love: (Only 3DS games)
Fire Emblem Awakening
Animal Crossing New Leaf
Super Street Fighter IV
New Super Mario Bros. 2
Resident Evil Revelations
Scribble Nuats Unmasked
The Legend of Zelda A Link Between Worlds
The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time
Super Mario 3D Land
Tales of the Abyss
Theatrythm Final Fantasy
Donkey Kong Country Returns
Mario Kart 7
Pokemon Y
Hope this helps. There are some really great games for the 3DS out there. Plus there's a lot of great games to download from the olden days if you're in to that.
@Coolyfett Hey listen mate. Adults do actually play Nintendo games, especially Wii U. I'm one of them.
The reason I hate Sony is not because of their games (I like their games, I do!), is the company itself, not the games or console. They are, to me, a bunch of greedy bastards who will happen to hop upon anything like a puppy pleading to remove a chain from it's leg and they will instead wound it (note that this is only an example, not reality, but reality is about Sony does do threats). They'll threaten to remove your PS+ account and lock your console, FOREVER. How many people have reported this? Over 9999!! Basically, 20 million people have.
Nintendo happens to have about, hmm, what was it? 7000 employees, that's including NOA, NOJ, NOA the rest (lol I don't know how many states Nintendo is in. They're everywhere).
The Wii U aren't floppin' any time, guys. Please understand. You know what the Golden Ages is? The days of reality where Nintendo RULED the gaming world, or universe, for that matter. Nobody spoke about Sony or Microsoft. They were weak and tiny compared to Nintendo, right now and in the future, they will be. I'm not fanboy, but I've been with them since, hmm, the SNES era. I've lost count of how many consoles Nintendo has released. xD
I have to say you sound unreasonable to me. The unfortunate reality is that Nintendo isn't doing well with it's newest home console. I love Nintendo and the games they make and I also see a decline in the market for the Wii U. It's happening whether or not I like it or anyone else likes it. I can't say that Nintendo will or will not pull out of this slump but I can say they need to change what they are doing and market not only to consumers but to third party publishers in a way that is both appealing and profitable. Yes, Sony cares about money. You hit the jack pot with that one. So does every other major business in the world. Wouldn't you? I've never been threatened by Sony and I don't know anyone who has. Nintendo continues to blindly push it's own preferences on to the consumer rather than take an active interest in a wide market. I believe there is a way to please hardcore fans while simultaneously appealing to causal fans; They aren't doing that though. Nintendo is stubborn and blind to their own impending demise.
Hey, great list. I really like how you have a great story behind why you like the games you like the best and why they mean so much to you. Having real emotional attachments to the games I love are what keeps me gaming and it's nice to see like-minded people out there.
