Says the guy who's ranting on Reggae. I mean, honestly, it's not my favourite genre but it's a lot better than death metal and emo. And I did listen to a couple of death metal songs full length (god help me) and I couldn't make out any words. All I heard throughout the song was "RRRRAAAAWWWRRRR!!!".

Since when is a song' based on how well you can understand the lyrics? Obviously you don't value the important parts of music.

Yeah I forgot to add on. The drums sound like some guys with metal pipes smashing a bunch of garbage cans to bits. And the guitar sounds like a freight train getting into a head on collision with an oil tanker. Understand what I'm trying to say?

And yeah, the lyrics and being able to understand what the person is singing does make a difference. When I listen to music I want to hear words that give meaning to the song. Not just "GRAAAAAAWWWRRR I EAT BABIEZ!!!"

After I listened to Cannibal Corpse I ran away screaming.

So basically your opinion on one of the largest and most diverse sub-genres of Metal is based off of one band, of which, you probably only heard one song.

So? It all sounds that same whats the difference between listening to one song compared to listening to the whole frakin' album?
