PC is my main platform of choice followed by the PS2, Xbox 360, and the Wii. I really dig the PS3 but 1.) I don't have one and 2.) Not many games for it have peaked my interest thus far.

That's not the part of the post I'm referring to. ;) Like I said, it's been rumored about the internet that it could run Oblivion on medium settings. What is more, "next gen" is just a redundant marketing term. No one except naive buyers really care about if they're games are next gen enough. They just want games that either look decent, are fun, or are a combination of both and the Wii fits that criteria obviously.

You only prove my point by already limiting yourself when buying a Wii.

Oh because I buy a Wii, you assume that's the only console I have? I also have an Xbox 360, PS2, and PS3 along with my hand-made PC. I don't think I'm limiting myself in the least; more like expanding my tastes to include those that don't fall into the hardcore. ;)

you can check the currently rated games, the PS3 and 360 far out number the Wii in quality titles.

Yes im serios, when you do something memorable (like play zelda with your brother) going though a similar expience will bring back those good memorys that what nostalga means. THe graphics, the game play, the story telling, hasn't advanced very much from mario 64 to mario galaxy

Not true in the least. It's been rumored that the Wii could handle The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion at medium settings. ;)

Todays standards eh? I hope you aren't referring to consoles... Right now, Crysis is the standard by which all graphics are measured against which makes your argument moot.

And why would I want all those to play casual games anyways? They would be nice features but I don't think anyone buys a Wii thinking that it's going to be a "hardcore" gaming experience with 64-150 player fragfests. Edit: Oops, I'm thinking PC here. I mean 16 player fragfests.

games: its overall quality of its library is almost 2X less than the PS3 and even more when compared to the 360.

I understand that but I'm talking specifically about the "Wii hate." And while most of the reasons to hate a console are laughable at best, I think besides the excuse, "I don't like it" that any other excuse is ridiculous.

I'll Tell you i happen to have a Wii. And in comparison with rreal systems like th3 360 or ps3, its just trash a cheap little gimick.footfoe2

Real systems? You mean the console that looks like it should have been released in 1999 with the Dreamcast and breaks down at any given moment? Or the console made made by Sony that hasn't really taken off even thought it's been a year already?

All its games belong on the 64. The only reason they get good scores is because people liked the older games and feel nostalgic

I've seen that a lot here too. I've also seen this "OMG who cares if the PC has better graphix, it's all about the gamz u no." Wii thread~"The Wii has crappy graphix and it sux!" Ah good times, good times. :)
