does this happen in the same place all the time?

i have encontered this before but, for me, it just went away.

this is in reference to the boarderlands DLC.

some DLC do it some dont.

DLC is generally GT specific.

when i got my xbox elite and was waiting for the data transfer kit, i migrated my profile to my new hard drive and downloaded evrything to my new hard drive (without a license transfer) so that i could play all my arcade games and DLC.

most games and DLC worked fine but there were a couple of DLC's that just would not work.

this is why i believe it to be unplayable using another gamertag.

You could always try the Prestige Mode. Basically, you have to restart the Multiplayer. All your Callsigns, Killstreaks, and Titles will go bye bye. I'm thinking of doing it but I'm not quite sure I want to do that crap all over again.

you lose everthing apart from your call signs and titles.

it sounds to me like your hard drive is corrupted.

have a look at method 4 it explains what to do if you are getting this problem from games on your HDD.

re-download the DLC.

if this doesnt work then the DLC must only be useable by the gamertag that downloaded it
