I never played the DEMO I played the Betas, and I a few people if lucky were able to go beyond the end cap of level 22 and the last boss of the beta Which was granted by flagship at random. SO i got my lucky email and continued on. I have no idea whats in the demo, i can only guess single player .. which is silly since Diablo 1-2 were made for multiplayer gamers.

You could play it single player but thats like playing BF2 single... just kinda OK. And since I have this little but of further knowledge than most people or even the regular Beta players Im just saying the story line is very nice. The monsters later on actually work together to kill you, and unlike Diablo2 the monsters can kill you without the help of lag.

Simplifying what im saying. the story SO FAR is good. I dunno about Diablo good, because D2s story cinematic and everything eles were damn near perfect. But what im saying is It IS a diablo clone, and it expands and has better features on a known already working format. People are still playing D1 so we all know this works.

As far as NPC, the further you get the better the NPC get to the point where you are laughing at this goofy old man later on. But it isnt going to be immerse to the point of FallOut, its just you pick one of 3 sentences to move along on your quest.

As far a tutorial... Its not that great since they do just drop you into a fight, and you do haveta learn the interface. BUT it is great later on when you get used to it. Being that you can even tell some skills/abilities to activate with a shift click, or any other key. Multi views more than 1 weapon set, so lets say you have a shield/sword set to set #1. And a flying deamon is attacking. You switch to your weapon set #2 which has a grapple and sword and you reel em in and beat him to death.

Also ranged skill sets are smart for mobs and you can use some lower damage ranges guns even as a sword wielder. You can make a LUCK group of weapons and do boss runs, to get good loot. All kinds of awesome stuff is in this game. All Im tryin to say is the negative everyone is saying about the game, aren't really truths for the later parts of the full game, which even the beta testers didnt even get to fully play.

The game is awesome TRUST ME Diablo2 but waaaaaayyyy better. Dont listen to these forum trolls who say its not fun. If you liked diablo its better, if you like the graphics of dungion seige 2 its better. Like building and crafting weapons... its a huge slection on what you can build n craft.

And the storyline is very very good. The missions make sense as per progression. Also the lenth of the stand-alone game is great!!! Lots of play time and replayablity with all the classes.

Some info incase no one said anything. If you preorder you get some ok goodies, but you also get access to the "founders club" Pay $150 life time membership, instead of paying an MMO subscription. Other goodies too like dye tubs etc...

Bottom line GREAT GAME, dont let the haters steer you off this one.

The Good: Atmosphere, it felt like you had to get to the tank, the cover on the hardest setting was very very important. Each weapon had its own use, I used a saw one time at the tank up close n personal, the next i ran far away from the tank and sniped. So its got variety.

Graphics, just great cant ask for much more, even the night vision was cool.

AI, The AI was pretty good, they fought killed the enemy, and they died too. Also when they cleared rooms, it was an exact drill of clearing rooms down to "four coming out" when the exited.

The Bad: Very slow moving, sprint felt like normal speed for me, COD2 was very very fast paced, so maybe I was expecting that. Also im playing Quake wars alot and UT3.. so maybe I was used to those 2.

The Sound - The m4 sounds like a "fricken lazer gun" sooo lame. Fix that sound it was nothing like an M4. Other than that the voice overs was good. Just fix the gun sounds.

Over all Its a good game, I would buy if I wasn't already full up on new games. TOO many games came out in Sept/Oct. But I can tell this one would be great even beyond the demo.

Quake Wars is very fun. However the learning curve is a bit tough at first. I have played all the BF series, original Team fortress on Quake, and just about every FPS you can think of. yeah Im old. So im just saying I know my FPS games.

Quake wars is very in depth, but you haveta find that depth. When you find your niche on a map, maybe a rocket soldier just pegging hard lock-on targets, you will greatly help your team and will actually see your teams progress. Its worth trying the demo, and please read a FAQ on how to use certain clazzess, trust me, they all do something important. So my say is good buy :)
