Thanks for the replies guys :)

I am a big fan of GRID and looking forward to GRID 2, but what my focus here is a game where you have a wider range of vehicles with upgradable parts. Stuff like chip tuning, turboes, tires, weight, etc.

I will check out SHIFT, iRacing and rFactor. Being too hardcore won't be a problem, I know racing real life, the real problem might be the lack of a racing wheel, something I've been planning to buy for a while.

A late Merry Christmas to you ;)

if you want hardcore racing. The PC is where its at. Go on youtube, there are a few channels that are dedicated to PC hardcore racing sims. You will be shocked at how expensive and intricate some of the PC hardware is. You can be as hardcore as you want to be although personally a g27 is good enough setup for me. check out something like http://simracinghardware.com/ if you got money to spare LOL the stuff is ridiculous.

[QUOTE="maximus_2"]Well we have our members playing SWTOR and its not really called 116th but Windhund and its part of our clan. and that division is pretty strong as well as in any other games that we play. We run our own game servers for games like Ro2, BF3 and others . why you asked ? FelipeInside
Nothing, just that if the Guild was called something like "Panzer Division" it wouldn't really go with the Sci Fi theme, don't you agree?

actually i think it makes it more awesome LOL

Is it good online? Do people still play it?

not sure about the online community i bet there are still are a few servers online. The game rocks though regardless. its just a really well polished game, highly recommend it. Online is fun aswell if your team works together.

You think Crysis 1 looks better than Crysis 2 gives me the impression you have no idea what you're talking about and do not have a PC capable of playing the game.

i agree with him crysis 1 is better graphically all those direct x 11 goodies could easily have been tacted onto the original crysis engine and it would blow crysis 2 out of the water.

Personally, I think comparing Crysis/Warhead to Crysis 2 is an apples to oranges comparison because the older games have an emphasis on natural terrain while Crysis 2 have an emphasis on urban locations.

Crysis 2 doesn't have much in the way of natural terrain aside from isolated locales. The way to really compare them are through buildings and man-made structures. In that respect, Crysis 2 has a decisive advantage. I have all three games. I can post screenshots from every level of Crysis and Warhead. Both games have nothing to compare with the urban areas in Crysis 2.

As for DX11, it would've been nice if Crytek released Crysis Remastered on the PC as well. I'd buy it just for curiosity's sake.

But heres the thing i have seen demos with the original crysis engine showing urban settings on youtube. I really doubt the new crysis 2 engine has the scope of the first crysis engine. The crysis 2 engine was built around the limitations of the xbox/ps3. I BET you could render those nice city scenes fine in the orignal crysis engine I HAVE DOUBTS you could render those lush forests and jungle settings in the crysis 2 engine

[QUOTE="Mozelleple112"]

I would take an iPhone 4S over the SII any day of the week.

I've just got a new Nokia (my sister bought the Samsung Galaxy SII so she gave me her Nokia N9 or something)

This phone has a 12MP camera, AMOLED screen (completely true blacks) much faster CPU etc... Yet still I miss my iPhone 3GS. I feel like I'd rather have an iPhone 4, let alone the new iPhone 4S which is signifcantly better.

In the end, it doesn't matter if Samsung or HTC has a faster CPU, AMOLED or OLED contraire Sh*tty S-LCD found in iphones etc, the software, UI, iTunes, Appstore etc make iPhones head and shoulders above the competetion.

I am a tech enthusiast, but having true blacks isn't really needed on a mobile phone. I'd love my projector to have true blacks but that won't happen unless I shell out a million bucks.

let me guess you just bought an iphone 4 recently and think its the greatest. its okay man its okay. hopefully you didn't pay full retail price for it

[QUOTE="SauceKing"]I have always been a tech enthusiast and kept a cutting edge PC. But the reality is, PC gaming is dying. My last gaming PC purchase was a laptop, then i bought an iphone and a tablet computer. Pc gaming is trending towards smaller and more efficient. You arent bleeding edge if you are still outfitting tower cases with enormous graphics cards.... new technology is more compact. It doesnt matter how many cards you have running in SLI, if you own a tower case, you are no longer technologically savvy... you are old, you are behind the times... your giant gaming PC is outdated. Get over it PC gamers, your rig is old, and you are old.... you are a relic. Stop pretending you are somehow on the bleeding edge of technology.starjet905
If you're so tech savvy as you claim, you'd have bought a Galaxy S2 instead of an iPhone. Therefore, the rest of your post is invalid.

lol owned

no love for hard reset???

Good point, hard reset is quite good looking. Not sure it has the variety of the other games though. Again that is mostly because it's a smaller studio and the art design, great engine though.

i heard serious sam BFE also looks impressive with everything maxed out minus the cut scenes lol
