[QUOTE="Toriko42"]I'm buying a PS3 partly for God of War 3 but I won't get a PS3 without BCGxgear

Good luck. The new 80gb model dont have it, and the older models (especially the 60gb model) is very susceptible to YLOD.

That's bull. My 60gb model is 2 years old and it's never been better.

I read a few posts in these forums and well, it sounds like PS3 owners dont know what a good game is. Killzone 2 is good at best. The visuals are foggy, the controls are slow, the weapons are definitely not from a futuristic alien world and the bad guys look all the same. Call of Duty 4 and World at war are so much more fun and call of duty 4 looks better.PS2luv
I'm not sure on what brick-square TV u was playing KZ2 but it's visuals are FAR from "foggy". It's got one of the greatest lighting and "lightning" engines out there. The game looks remarkably good. Best there ever was on consoles and it's been said by dozens of critics not just me. Secondly, I have no idea what is this issue with them "slow controllers". All you have to do is turn up a notch the sensitivity-bar under "Options" then it's a smooth ride.

Insecured? Everything multiplatform-made ultimately looks SUPERIOR on PC. Without a single doubt.

That;s closer to a "tye" than to "domination" I'll say...

I think Kaz Hirai's actions are proofing PS3's exclusives. If developing on the PS3 was to be a little too easy, the company in development would be caught sleeping on guard. He's just forcing the studios to make some extra efforts while developing.

[QUOTE="KingAsmodai"]Well, Sony's just full of surprises as usual. If you guys recall, the same exact thing had happened with PS2. Games studios were crying their eyeballs out cuz it was hard to develop for, the DVD drive was very well disputed...yet titles just came up better and better and Sony ended up completely dominating the competition. They obviously know what they're doing. ronvalencia
CELL is not the only stream processor in the gaming market. ATI's and NVIDIA's "fat" DX10 GPUS already kills PS3 CELL in Fold@Home and RC5-72.

What's that got to do with anything?

TC, tell me, who wins if.. A - those games are released and dont sell like most games on the platform B- those games boost sales of the console, which meas sony loses more money C-sony drops price, sell more consoles, extends losses into next fiscal year D-Games sell well, boost console sales with price drop = more money lost You choosenavyguy21
Dude, Sony actually makes a profit for selling games.

It all comes down to a matter of taste. That's it.
