I traded in at the store, than used the gift card online to get some used games (got $35 for Dead Rising 2). At the time their used prices were about $10 cheaper than gamespots. I got MAG and Assassins Creed 2 for $9 each. now they are closer to $20 each, but I keep my eyes open here and there for a steal.

If its being built from the ground up, what will happen to my account balance? Also, their statment said "some memebers may have had their info compromised", what is the deciding factors that lead "some" to be at risk?
arethings like Warhawk still playable, since they don't have servers in a traditional sense?

I couldn't even get out of the first village in the gamecube version. Port to wii andthrow in some motion controls, and you have a game so amazing, I played through it 23 times, and still want to play it. I've played 1-3 on PS, 1 was ground breaking, 2 was a vast improvement, 3 was stale (to me by that point). 4 turned it on its head and delivered a story and characters I love, bosses that I still enjoy blasting the crap out of, and graphics that are still damn good 5 years later.

Really?> cause i finished the game.
As for the Wii version,it is abit easier, but still pretty great, and the graphics look a little better.
I wasn't very good with "dual sticks" at the time. the headshots ARE a lot easier on wii.
I hope there is. I understand WHY nintendo made what they made. they were not going to win an arms race with xbox and PS3 on power alone, that goes against their $250 and under price point plans. they tried something (at the time) so outside the box, that the hardware needed to be "off the shelf" instead ofbuilt from the ground up so , if it failed, they wouldn't go out like sega (remember, nintendo doesn't have T.V.'s or computer software to fall back on like Sony and Microsoft if something fails). I look at the wii as a proof of concept. It works, theres a market for it, now give us the real model.
The graphics engines of games can only go so far, and since xbox and ps3's engines have come down in price, seeing something close to what they can do should not be out of the question. But I don't think your going to see another for about 2-3years, mainly because Japan is such a mess right now. lots of factories are having problems getting shipments of anything.
I would also like to see the next one use a wireless traditional gamepad AS WELL as the wiimote. Motion controls are not best for EVERYTHING. give me a choice, please.

Thats why I'm disappointed with Nintendo. Slim chance of Thor or Green Lantern being better than Iron Man 2. Not buying The Conduit 2 after getting screwed on the first game. that leaves Lego pirates of the caribbean....which I do love the Lego games.....but still, nothing coming

generally, I don't think american companies are cool with emulators (I think. I know nintendo isn't a fan of them).
So what apps does "homebrew" offer? I have an Iphone, and havent found one app thats worth having. When I look at what is done with hackedold 1st gen Xbox's, they just turn them into media servers, which the PS3 already is. And sorry for not digging through old posts. If I had more time, I would....but I don't....so I can't. Thanks for answering though.
After all the mess about hotz and Sony, and reading a lot of comments on lots of websites, More than one person made the claim that "its not about piracy or cheating". In a non-flaming, hacker bashing way, can anyone explain what hackers are doing ASIDE from ripping off software and cheating on multiplayer. And what is so important about being able to run linux? I'm genuinely interested in what they are trying to make a PS3 do that it doesn't already
