What other games has Robomodo made on any console handheld or otherwise??? Because I'm suprised Bobby would hand over the reins to one of is cash cows to get slaughtered. (pun intended) To get a 3.5 your either a horrible developer who are out of their leauge, or so lazy that you don't even try when making a game. I wouldn't be suprised if Bobby closes thier doors for this, you know that hunk of plastic wasn't cheap to build or develope.
I'm also wondering what Neversoft's take on this is??? They spent a decade building up this franchise only to see some no name upstart destroyit with one game. I know they have been stuck making GH games for the past a while know. But they can't be to happy with how this played out.
[QUOTE="beast667"]THPS is part of the reason i started skating. Admitting that makes me feel lame, but I've had a lot of good times because of that game.SilenthpsTHPS2 is what got me into skating :P watching all those vids you got for completing the careers did anywayz Theirs no shame in THPS helping you find your way to skating. I first started skating because of Ban This an old Powell video. And Silenthps your right when ever I watched the video's from one of Tonys game I had to go out and skate after word.
I always preferred the thrasher skate and destroy game to TH :?X360PS3AMD05Nah!!! But if you wanted a realistic break your thumb type game TSaK was the game. Even a simple 50-50 grind was hard as hell lol.

after tony hawk 2 on the ps1 the series started going downhill fast. i never played any tony hawk after part 3
How can you say Tony went downhill after 2??? When 3 is widely consider the pinnacle of the franchise. Hell it scored a perfect 10 here on old GS!!!It's his personal opinion?
I'm not attacking is opinion!!! If anything I want to know why he feels this way???I posted about this in another thread. How can you say 2 was the highlight of the series??? When 3 is widely considered the pinnacleof franchise it even scored a 10 here @ GS.For me, THPS2 was the highlight of the series. It was downhill from there.

The one thing I would like to know is whats Neversofts whole take on this??? Tony Hawk was NS's baby for so many years before it was yanked away too some no name developer. I wonder how they feel about seeing the TH series crash???

I bought a PS2 because of THPS3!!! I remember how massive the levels felt and the revert changed the dynamics of THPS forever. I played THPS all the way up till project 8. I rented it an thought the whole move your feet with both sticks felt forced. If I see Ride for 20 bucks somewhere someday I'll pick it up. I want to try and do actual skate tricks like kickflips or variels and see what the game interprets on screen.
How so??? I never really played BFBC before. But I feel MW2 really hasn't done nothing new either.I'm actually hugely dissapointed with bfbc2 and am impressed by mw2. They both are extremely similar to their previous games, but bfbc2 is worse than bfbc1. whereas mw2 is a great improvement over cod4.

if it wasn't for the THPS, Skate would have never existed. But I agree Skate is better now. But back when THPS first launched and all of the way up to 4, its a no contest. I just hope EA doesn't get lazy since they have no competition now.i had one of its games on the ps2. it was ok. i wont miss the series. Skate is WAY better:)
