haha didnt finish modern warfare 1 until a few weeks ago. probably half way through killzone 2 which i had since launch. will finish someday. not going to replay little big planet beginning levels to get to the middle levels. half way through grand theft auto 4 which i had since launch. might finish someday. on first level of bad company SP which i will not continue playing. so yes i do suffer from unfinished games syndrome. i just recently remembered how fun gaming on a console is.
The PS3s wifi adapter is great. I get 100% signal strength when my router is next door. IIRC downstairs gets 85%. Could be more but no lower than 85%. Dont even worry about this. You wont have any problems.
I played the demo a while back but I just redownloaded it today and I feel the same way. It bothered me and it bothers me now how so many people say this game is great. I havent played Resistance 2 but from what I see it looks good. A GS 9.0 better be good. RFOM definitely should have been a 7 - 7.5 but again this just my impressions from the demo.
I played the demo a while back and quit because it was horrible. Anyone agree this game sucks? I understand this game was made while the PS3 was still in its infancy but seriously, how can anyone defend this game? Ok its not horrible but its not a PS3 seller either. Not even close. Brings me back to the year 2000.
People need to understand something. The wifi adapter on the PS3 is only wireless G. It does 54 Mbps. Your internet is most likely not even near that. Most people only have a 1.5 Mbps connection. A 10 Mbps connection is considered pretty insane already so using an ethernet cable isnt going to make a difference in speed. Ive tried both. No difference. Now if youre talking about the quality of the wifi adapter, I would have to say its pretty good. Its as good as any other laptop wifi adapter. You wont have any problems with it.
Heres what I like about the web browsers controls. you can hold x to open a new tab and hold circle to close current tab. you can switch between tabs by pressing L2 or R2 and you can have a view of all tabs by zooming out. d-pad lets you jump to different sections of page. the controls are pretty couch friendly in my opinion when it comes to navigation. inputting letters and words is going to be tough as long as you dont have a keyboard. sometimes i find myself disconnecting my PC keyboard and plugging it in to my PS3 to type a long message. what they really need to work on is making the browser more compatible with complex pages and more crash friendly. i rarely use the web browser because i have my PC right next to me.
