While I do agree that the Halo series is an amazing series as far as consoles goes, there's nothing that ticks me off more than a fanboy saying something like "Zomg Halo 2 getting 9.4 means it's better than Half Life 2 getting 9.2 (I am not a hermit and I don't wanna bash Halo. Just an easy example to take). No, just stop fooling yourself. Computers are the kings of FPS and it is widely known. Maybe some of you might prefer console FPS to be better (I really can't see how. Someone has to explain this to me) but it is a general consensus that FPS on computers are better (obviously not all).

Scores are relevant to the platform (or consoles as far as FPS go). Halo series got such good scores (higher than Half Life series in some places) ONLY because it was being compared to console FPS and NOT to pc FPS. Some people really need to understand this.

I watched the first one. I would have never guessed that was Crysis. It looked kinda meh graphically.dgroundwater

I built my first computer this summer. Choosing the parts might take some time. Go on forums, ask, search around. It's nothing hard to do. I built it in one day. While I did have some moments of frustration I managed to pull through and it wasn't THAT hard. Ir's also a nice learning experience.

By the way yes it is possible to make a 600$ PC that can buy Crysis on high. What people don't get is that a lot of the costs are from the monitor, case, keyboard, mouse. You can save a LOT of money by just buying cheap ones that work perfectly fine. Maybe your computer won't look super nice from the outside but you'll be playing crysis on max.

Get ouf of here you stupid trolls. Stop trying to bash this game because you're failing miserably at it. Play the god damn beta (Like I am) and you'll see that multiplayer promises a lot. It's not just about graphics. The gameplay is just fun.

And if you're a fan of cs or Halo3, and only like that kind of fast mindless gameplay, then yes like you said this might not be for you. This resembles more like BF2 style. To each their taste but don't go around saying it looks "boring".

I don't see why Crysis isn't being listed more. Is it just because these forums are filled with Halo fanboys? I'll agree that Halo 3 might be a great game but it doesn't really do anything new. Crysis actually tries to bring next gen graphics and next gen environments for the FPS genre
