Yes, I decided to install both patches and I have seen an improvement in loading times which is obviously a good time. I haven't experienced any crashes as yet though, but I am assuming by the amount of people claiming that there is a chance of crashes throughout the game, I should be getting one pretty soon.
Well you should have a message that comes up in console that will tell you the reason you got kicked or the server disconnected. It could be a problem with Punkbuster, or something to do with your user configuration that only needs a simple command to sort out. If you could possibly type up what the message in console says then someone maybe able to help you more. If it still doesn't work after this contact Activision, and it may be a long process, but it will get sorted in the end.
You need to check if the filters you are using are correct, as in the source is selected as internet, and you haven't configured the special filters so that you can only see several servers, or none at all. Otherwise, I haven't really experienced this problem and I have had the game since Christmas time. It may be a problem with your firewall, and after configuring that and it still doesn't work, put in a support ticket at Activision and see what they say.
I have recently bought The Witcher and I was wondering is it worth getting the patches? I know that it is an obvious question where people that read this topic would reply as yes, and call me silly. It's just that I have seen a few topics around where people have said about moving back down from 1.2 back to 1.1 due to a reason unknown, and that is another reason why I made this topic. What's the difference/improvement between each patch and does it improve the optimisation? Thanks for any comments.
You can't really redeem a ban because it was the Administrator of the server that banned your IP, and not the company nor anti-cheat system that blocked your IP. The only way you could possibly do it is by contacting the Administrator of the server and telling him your side of the story.
