Codemasters its doing a excellent work as always Dirt 3 is still an amazing game and for me its the best rally game out there, there is no need for a Dirt 4, and that is why Dirt Showdown is a brilliant move coming from Codemasters, seems plenty of fun, and I will probably buy it, now Codemasters give me GRID 2 and I will be a happy men.
Not bad news, I would prefer to wait, and get a polished product instead of these all complete crap + dlcs, lets just hope they don't disappoint us, other wise, they won't have a long run.
Why all the hate towards tdu2 yeah it is a flawed game, but its still fun non the less, I loved driving around the massive islands, also even tho allot of ppl complained about the controls, if you use a decent wheel its actually pretty good, for those who just wanted to cruise (like me) its a blast.
Anyway I don't really like Atari that much, they don't have that many good franchises left, TDU and The Witcher being the main ones, Alone in the Dark is pretty much dead, they bought Driver Publisher (side note:had both Driver 1 and 2 awesome game), but end up losing it, now theres Tera as a big mmo that seems promising and lets see how that plays out, Eden Games was actually a pretty good developer, not sure what happen or Eden Games employees claims are true, but its dead now.
I think Atari had a golden goose in their hand and kill it, if Eden Games had make TDU2 an F2P MMO Racing game, they would be making alot of money, look at Need For Speed World 2 million players and its making tons of money, I also own it, yet I like TDU2 more, because its a more mature game in comparison, also TDU2 had allot of customization option, only think I never like it was the sticker system.
I own TDU2 great game, and was a beta tester, and they took our input seriously, the game wasn't perfect, but was really fun and massive, I get a nostalgic feeling when I remember the cruising around the islands, I still play it now and then its pains to think there won't be a TDU3, Atari just entered my Black List... =(
@Joefatty2x4 DLC now thats another issue that should be severely scrutinize, the fact that some companies ship their games (DS2 wasn't the only one) with DLC content already inside the disk and that players have to pay for it to unlock is completely unethical, when you buy a physical copy everything inside that disk should belong to you. Once again it fall to retrograded laws that need to be reviewed to protect us gamers.
EA once more in the middle o a scandal, due to there incompetence and disregard for their costumers, also this creates a problem at what point does a player in a F2P game become a customer, when he creates an account or when he actually spends money on the game. Its a dilemma and most countries if any, still fail to take games in consideration in their consumer protection laws.
