Um no Peter you silly person, to make an MMO you need a world that you can move 10 feet in without getting a load screen. That concept is utterly beyond your imagination or skill set.

Well I sure hope for their sakes they don't walk around with white paint on their heads like the idiots I this trailer. There is another word for that, it's called a target.

saying it now, this guy is going to totally steal the GTAV show. The other 2 characters are just standard hollywood cut outs, but this guy is unique. He is GTA on 2 legs.

credit where credit is due; this looks very cool and promising.

BUT.....it has the same hang ups as the first kinect.

If you have not used a projector before, it is very, VERY difficult to get an image spread across an entire wall unless the projector is a long way back. It is the laws of physics and you cannot get round with with cool new GPU's or software.

The image has to go through a glass lens to form a sharp graphic on the wall, and to get that lens to project across the entire wall, you need to be further away from it.

This and kinect need living rooms the size of football pitches to work well.

this tells us all we need to know...

"A Microsoft representative told GameSpot, "We're excited to share more about the new generation of games, TV, and entertainment on May 21, but have nothing further to share at this time."

It does not say "We're excited to share more about the game console".

Microsoft may think they are being clever here, but they are not. Most TV sets being released right now, are smart TV's. With access to all the entertainment that the next xbox has, but with no monthly gold subscription.

As for always online, re-read the developer notes; this is NOT an option left to software companies, it is a hardware feature.

An iPhone that cannot get signal turns into an iPod. A new xbox that cannot get online turns into a brick.

the site reports. "Next-gen achievements can also be tied to broader events, like a weekend challenge or a communal goal, like clicking on 150 targeted tile ads in one session or the bigger goal of 10,000 ads over one weekend."

wow, so lets count up here....77 million xbox's with only 15% of screen space dedicated at start up to gaming, so thats 77 million times 85% screen space times 12 rolling ads. Wow microsoft you are just an advertising mean machine of death aren't you?

Nintendo: Some believe Wii U is 'just Wii with a pad for games'

Oh silly me, I thought that too. So when I play Mario Olympics or whatever, I toss the pad part in a flat spin across the room, to get a good score right? And when I play an RPG, that plasticky pad is my trusty shield of truth, I hold it in front of me, right? And when I am in some nintendo tomb raider rip off, and there are sharks below me, I run upstairs with my superpad and throw it in the bath.

well, I live in the UK, and the same month I got the xbox 360, back in 2005, I also got a HD tv box from SKY. The skybox is silent, and worked without flaw, and was recently upgraded free of charge to a new one with much bigger HD.

During that same time frame, the xbox 360 (which sounds like a 747 at take off) was replace FOUR TIMES. The UPS guy got to know me by name and said that xbox failures were the biggest income generator the company had ever had.

Will I trust Microsoft with my TV channels?

Um....no? Does 'no' work for you guys at MS?

@mumfaud its a question of perception. I am looking at all 3 systems this time round, as are many people. The days of fanboy loyalty to a console brand are over.

At the moment, I see the nintendo as having last gen's graphics with a this gen price tag. And no collection of mario type games to bring back fond snes memories.

They need to fix all these problems or they will finish this gen in last place
