Thanks For Breaking My Streak.

I just got off a 7-day suspension for flaming, which explains the absence of blog posts.Of course, even if I hadn't been suspended I might not have posted anyway, because I had nothing to talk about.:P

I've really just been playing a lot of Okami, and not touching Spore. This is usually what happens,I'll play a single game for long stretches until some other game takes over my interest.

Other than that,I'm looking forward to Dancing With the Stars tonight.:)See ya.

Not Much To Talk About Today....

Oh well,I guess I'll have to write about stuff that's not interesting at all.:PSo,Saturday Night Live.Last night's show was hosted by Micheal Phelps, and if you don't know who that is you are an idiot. He did surprisingly well, except for some slip-ups at the end.Oh,and it had Tina Fey as Sarah Palin. The first thing I thought when I heard about Palin was "Who??".The first thing I thought when I saw her was "She looks just like Tina Fey.".Apparently,SNL did too.

Anyway,I played some more of Okami today.I had to jump up a ridiculously tall tower by sticking to the walls, all to get a brush spell that would enable me to scale vertical surfaces using cat statues. And then I had to climb the tower again to get a collectible.

I'm going to try and play Okami again now,so I'll leave you guys with that.

A Weekend Of Waiting.

I'm not really doing much today.I played a bit of Okami, which I haven't touched in a week because of Spore. And I mowed the lawn, but other than that I haven't been doing much of anything. What I am doing, however,is looking forward to stuff,so I guess this is the blog when I tell you what that stuff is.

For starters,I'm waiting for 11:30 tonight and the season premeire of Saturday Night Live.Tomorrow night is the Steelers game, and in two weeks it'll be Dancing with the Stars. Then in October,CSI.

That's really it.Spore was really the only game I was looking forward to,since Nintendo's E3 crashed and burned.

I suppose I'll see you guys tomorrow.

How To Fail At The Space Stage In Spore.

I'm currently playing my second file in Spore, and do you know why? It's because starting a war with another race in the Space Stage starts the most ludicrous snowball effect in all of gaming.Let's examine further, shall we?

The whole fiasco started when another race called the Bingfish started trying to extort money in exchange for not wiping me off the map.I decided to take the initiative and flew to one of said race's planets and used my super-duper religion bomb on it,making the planet mine.Naturally, this started a war.Unfortunately,my allies at the time loved peace a little to much, and severed their alliances. This wasn't really a problem, since I wasn't at war with them.Unfortunately, when I insta-converted another Bingfish planet, said race's allies all declared war on me.Now I'm in the middle of 3 wars, with no allies because I started it in their eyes, because they obviously weren't getting extorted like I was.

Now I flew on over to said allies that had declared war,and blasted them with the God bomb. And then a massive pile of war-declaration letters was dumped on my head, because this race had no less than 10 allies, all of whom were pretty pissed. It was at this moment that I abandoned the file forever, because I would soon be dealing with 13 different wars.

Fortunately, you can start a new file from any stage in the game with any creature you choose,so I effectively hit the reset button.

Nevertheless,I still like Spore a lot.And I'm really glad it's the weekend.:P

God,The Scale Of The Thing!!!

I'm refering to Spore,of course. In the time since I posted my last Spore blog,I've completed the Civilization Stage and moved on to the epicly huge Space Stage.

First things first, the Civ Stage.I won this stage by converting all the cities on my planet religiously, which means I selected my propaganda-mobiles and clicked on a city, then watched as they did their thing. And occasionally I threw a deflector shield over them to protect them from enemy projectiles, but overall the Civ Stage was extremely simple.

Then I moved on to the ridiculously massive Space Stage, and I do not exaggerate when I say there will always be something to do there.Seriously, there are so many planets I will never be able to visit them all.For most of the time I've been playing,I've been doing missions to raise money for colony building and terraforming.I don't really have a goal in mind:I think I'll just enjoy the sights.

If your computer can run it,and it probably can, because the system requirements are really low,get it.

And that's it for today.

The Continuing Chronicles Of Spore.

Spore has officially turned into something that looms over me when it's time to write my daily blog.It just sits there saying "Play me!!!!" in an adorable squeaky voice.:PAnd I'm not going insane.:|

Oh well, the Orkin man just got done spraying something in random spots around the house,so I guess I'll tell you about what I played of Spore yesterday.I finished the Creature stage by continuing my earlier strategy of killing everything, and the only notable thing that happened during the last few minutes was a giant Green Koopa Paratroopa started stomping around.

Soon I was in to the tribal stage, which started with my creature discovering fire while the Space Odyssey music played.:PIn the Tribal Stage,I took a complete U-turn in my strategy:now I'm making friends with the other tribes instead of destroying them.Partly because I felt guilty about killing everything before hand, and partly because it's the easiest way.:P

Anyway,I'm going to play some more now,and possibly make a video that I can upload to the site.Bye!!

Feel Honored,I Should Be Phoning This Blog In.:|

I know I said I would tell you all about Spore today, but the game is just so darn addictive I have to resist the urge to start playing right now.And it's hard considering that I forced myself to do my homework and chores first. You guys should feel entitled that I'm taking this time to post this for you.:P

Anyway, yesterday we went to get Spore, which was made difficult by the fact that 5 million other people in the area decided to be out and about at that exact time.Arby's was practically bursting at the seams,so we went to Popeye's instead. To eat,not to get Spore.:PAnyway,my dad is always raving about how good their red beans and rice is,while I can't stand the stuff. My dad kept saying how it was the best red beans and rice anywhere, which I said was practically like saying your poop tastes better than everyone else's.:PWell,I tried them, and they were good,to my surprise.

But that's enough of that, let's talk about Spore!!I immediately noticed that the cover for the box is almost exactly like the cover of Super Mario Galaxy's box, with a spaceship replacing Mario.

As for the game itsel,I've already said it's really addictive. The Cell Stage was over in half an hour, not surprisingly. In the Creature Stage,my dude went from looking like an ameoba with legs to a miniature T-Rex with too many spikes.Needless to say,I took the easy way, which is kill everything.:P

And that's about it.I'm going to play more Spore now,so you won't be seeing me around.:P

It's Raining,It's Pouring,But At Least No One's Snoring.

Well,Hannah is dumping endless amounts of rain on my area right now,but not much else is happening.I went ahead and ironed out all my homework for the weekend,so now I have nothing left to do but watch TV,play Wii,and come on Gamespot.

That's all.Short blog,I know, but the day has been so uneventful it balances out.:P
