My new computer is set up!!!!!!! :D

It has 22 inches of high resolution win for the monitor. It is ridiculously faster than my last one, and did I mention that it's win? Plus, it comes with Windows 7, and a webcam, so maybe you can expect a video blog in the future. :D

So, I've changed my avy to fanart of Tsutaja, or as I will refer to him until his US name is revealed, SmugSnake. :P

Anyway, I'm glad to say that the new computer is finally unboxed! The screen is soooo huge.....my current one is 19 inches, this new one is 22.

Well, although it's not official yet (and by not official I mean it just hasn't been confirmed, there is little reason to suspect that these are not real) the starter Pokemon for Black & White have been revealed. And here they are...

And with the announcement of new Pokemon, comes the flood of hate. It's literally as predictable as clockwork. 99.99% of the criticism will not go beyond "WTF I want the first gen back!".

In short, it's all bull****, and I just tune it out. One of my general rules is this: if I can predict the reaction to something that doesn't even exist yet, said reaction and opinions thereof are not legitimate. It is more likely that the criticizers are set in their ways, unable to say anything good. In short, I declare criticism of Pokemon designs wrong. Deal with it.

Not that criticism is wrong, but looking through every negative post about the designs, not one has any legitimate arguments, even for a matter of personal taste as this. I have yet to see a single post give a supporting detail as to why they suck. They just say "they suck" and waltz off somewhere else.

Just because the quality of the designs is totally subjective doesn't mean you can get away with not having any reasons behind your opinions. "They suck" is not a valid criticism. Neither is giving out a list of what they look like and saying "LOL".

In short, Pokemon design hate is easily some of the least supported out there, and paying attention to it is useless.
