[QUOTE="Orlando_Magic"] [QUOTE="-Stranger-"]

Been bumping this for about 4 days straight, and i like this album more than The Minstrel Show....
9th Wonder is amazing here, and Phonte is the best i've ever heard him lyrically.

HighRoGlyFix

9th did about 10 cuts on Chittlin Circuit 1.5. Khrysis did Third Party, Starvation, and Doin Me; Illmind did Nobody Like Me and The Beginning; Nicolay did The Yo-Yo Remix and The Way You Do It Remix; Young Guru did Ladies Jam; and then 9th Wonder did all the rest.

"Doin Me" is my favorite beat and song off the whole CD. "Third Party" is the wackest beat off the whole CD. Khrysis still owns though. I know I do this alot, but my top tracks are..

1) Doin Me
2) The Honorable
3) What You Do
4) Nobody Like Me
5) Altitudes

I could totally understand why someone would put Chittlin Circuit ahead of Minstrel Show. Lyrically, it's a hair better. And the best of Chittlin is better than the best of Minstrel too. It's just a few average tracks (The Beginning and Third Party are the only ones I can think of) off the CD that keeps me from liking the CD more than Minstrel Show. Minstrel Show was perfect, not a single bad/ok track.

Third Party was one of the five best beats on the album. :|

1. Doin' Me featuring Supastition
2. Starvation featuring Chaundon
3. War
4. The Beginning featuring Yahzarah
5. Nobody Like Me featuring Darien Brockington andO-Dash
6. Welcome to Durham featuring Big Daddy Kane
7. The Honorable featuring Chaundon
8. Flash and Flare
9. Third Party featuring Joe Scudda

^ All of the above songs are perfection
10. Take It There
11. On the Way
12. Altitudes
13. What You Do
14. Ladies Jam

I don't count the remixes as songs -- they are horrendous and have nothing new, anyway.

-er on the end is disrespectful. Say that to me, and give me good reason to think you mean it, and we're fighting. Period.

I don't say ***** -- not because I have qualms about it, I just don't. I'll say it when I'm joking, or to bash black people who help contribute to the negative image of our race, or to categorize stupid black people.

I am uncomfortable when other races say it, though. I'm not going to stop someone from saying it, but I just think it's weird.

Even Dizzy Dustin, a religious man and one of the emcees for Ugly Duckling (and the best one; dude is dope) agrees: Organized religion is the biggest separator of man.

[QUOTE="gtarules42"] [QUOTE="7LES"]The cool thing about most people being religious is that if they weren't raised on it -- i.e. their parent being religious and basically making them partake in actions of religious people -- they probably wouldn't be.

I see religion as a sign of weakness. You don't know what's true or not. What's so hard about accepting that? It's really easy, in fact. A lot of people (read: everyone I've asked on the subject) say it helps them through problems, etc. etc. They should be able to do it all by themselves, and in a way, they really are; religion is just used as an excuse.

word, athiests FTW

Yeah, because admitting you don't know -- which no one does -- means you're atheist.

I don't use religion as an excuse to get through problems. If you can come up with any examples...then please do..

Death
Personal hardships.

That about covers it all.

How many songs you got? (Too lazy to go look.) I love the J-Live album more than anyone else on this forum, including you, and I owe you since I never did the 7LES thing.

And I'd love to type up every LB song (even their officially unreleased stuff) if you wanted it.

Why not? I like the Texans, and I'm not even from Houston...they're my 2nd favorite team.

1st is the Jets <3

Cool -- you get to put false Reggie Bush hope in two teams!

Not everyone has a good team all of the time :)

I know -- two of my favorite teams are the Niners and the Lakers. Both suck. I just wanted to bash Reggie Bush some way.

Threat was produced by 9th, and Jay-Z blew on that song. The dude talking was the best part.
