zoomed or not, that doesnt excuse the mapping problems with the uvs on the meshes, the very normal lighting settings, not soft shadows, weak foliage and cheap water
@Greekpyro come on dude what was that ? the ps3 has gfx specs similar or lower of those of x360 because of bandwith issue related with memory usage... and compaging the gfx of halo vs. killzone2 and saying its similar is really out of mind... because halo aint looking good, gameplay wise we'll wait and see
maybe its the art director thats weak.. strange.. because halo is suposed to receive full support from microsoft on every level, which means showcasing great gfx to valid the supposed best graphical console on the market that is the x360... but it pretty obvious that bungie isnt delivering graphically, those who says the contrary are either marketing dudes or fanboys ( ah hate the usage of that word.. oh well )
ehh, the artist at bungie are not that hot after all eh, except the lighting nothing really improved or as been pushed the water is pretty cheap too, the shadows arent soft in the last picture stange.. the foliage is basic and gameplay wise its under team fortress or quake wars .. so why such a feature ?
interesting to note also that even thought that the modeling / environement in general is pretty lame... they still have been able to botch the unwrap job at some places ... arrr
