@justthetip: Keep the hate train going. It makes you a better person in the end.

Yeah, the switch doesn't have the greatest performance, but when I can get in an hour of gaming over lunch that I couldn't before, what's wrong with that?

Yeah, RDR2 could not run on a switch. I would, however, take some GTA 5 on switch.

I don't doubt that GoW deserves a chance at GOTY. The vision for the game and effort put into it was just fantastic. The dev team had passion and it absolutely shows. However, for me (an avid, if not rabid, lover of the GoW franchise), I'm having a really hard time getting through it. Non-boss enemies seem to take way too many hits to take down and the combat is just a little slow for me.

True, this GoW is not the button-masher of old and someone might criticize me for being some kind of casual, but I loved the gameplay of Demon/Dark Souls and how precise you have to be lest you get smoked by the first enemy you see.

I just can't put my finger on what is about this GoW that just doesn't click. Because opinions I guess.

@mpl911: You're livin' right good sir!! I would love a playseat. Been meaning to either buy one or fashion one for myself, but I don't think the wife would go for it. :)

@Vodoo: It's good for people that like a feeling of ownership in their games. You get the feeling of slow progression and a sense of accomplishment.

Plus, it's nice to have different gaming experiences. I've play FS a bunch, but I also play shooters and racers as well. Sometimes you feel like a fat juicy burger off a grill and sometimes a chicken caesar salad hits the spot. Forgive the metaphor, I'm a little sleepy today.

@mpl911: I've got Euro and American Truck Simulator on my PC with a Logitech G29 system (wheel with H-pattern shifter and 3 pedals). I wouldn't want to play those games with just a regular controller. Rowing through the gears in big rig is surprisingly fun as well!

@Tacanacy: Clearly there was a market for it and they satisfied it!
