@Luunaa I understand what you're saying, but try to hang on to hope for humanity. A lot of the idiotic comments came from immature kids that haven't faced certain realities such as cancer. Hopefully someday they'll see the error of their attitudes.
An otherwise good review, marred only because it's difficult? I think someone's just trying to drum up comments or something. Everything I read makes this game sounds like a "good" or even "great" game but it only got a "fair" rating. I guess Carolyn should not review the Demon/Dark Souls games. She would probably give them a 1.0!
@adeathnote1 That's how I play too. I can't afford the Logitech wheel with the detachable h-pattern shifter, so I use the Logitech wheel with the +/- shifter.
All I'm saying is they need to add some overall element to link all the races together to give me the feeling that I'm part of a big picture. GT games are like a salad without dressing. You can taste each individual component in the salad, but if you add a little bit of dressing, it tastes like a cohesive dish.
I really like what the reviewer said when he said that the game will never progress beyond what it is to keep the die-hards happy. I've played many a GT game and have yet to see any kind of real progression. Give me a career path with choices or something. Add some damn fun to the game for crying out loud!
To all of you who said that microtransactions weren't a big deal because they are completely optional, this proves just how wrong you are. Is it a coincidence that the payouts were nerfed when MTs became available? You're a moron if you think this is okay.
