360 outsold ps3
[QUOTE="drekula2"]2014 will destroy it with the announced games alone: Witcher 3 MGS5 X Destiny Titanfall Infamous SS Smash Bros Halo Mario Kart 8 The Division Sunset Overdrive Quantum Break Bayonetta 2 The Order Rime Dragon Age 3 The Crew And the unannounced games such as: Uncharted 4 Fallout 4 Sony Santa Monica New IP Guerilla WRPG Assassin's Creed Next Media Molecule New IP LBP3Honestly, I think 2013 is probably the best year in gaming of the whole gen.

people would love that about sports and racing games but games like gta would freak people out a lil bit.Well, considering the evolution of ps360 this gen, the evolution next gen will be similar.Â
But, it will never "nearly match" rality. We are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo far away from that. (and who wants to play something that looks real, anyways :) )

You mean if they made literally a gaming box with no bullshit, of course with online play because this is 2013... yeah I would be excited. Wii U should have been this and they should have called it Nintendo 6 or whatever.SaltyMeatballsi believe they will within the next 5 years.

The slow and steady march towards real-life graphical performance in video games appears to be quickening its pace. Speaking to GamesIndustry.biz in an interview published on Tuesday, Quantic Dream CEO David Cage said that as developers get more comfortable developing titles for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, gamers can expect titles that can nearly match real life. Related stories League of Legends is hacked, with crucial user info accessed PlayStation 4 to arrive November 15 Battlefield 4 charges forth with multiplayer trailer, beta in October Indie hit Minecraft headed to Sony's PlayStation platforms Microsoft to kill Games for Windows Live in July 2014 -- report "I don't know if we will reach a point during this cycle where you won't be able to tell the difference between a film and a game, but I know we're going to get really close to that during this cycle," Cage told the gaming publication. Since 3D gaming became popular, the idea of video games one day looking as realistic as real life has been a hope for some players. And with each new improvement to consoles, developers and publishers push the idea of titles inching their way closer to reality. So far, however, titles haven't been able to match their real-life counterparts. Cage is certainly in the position to know what the future looks like for games. His company Quantic Dream has been celebrated by hard-core gamers who have touted its strong storytelling in popular games, such as Heavy Rain and Indigo Prophecy.

yeah i feel what you're saying. kinda like how sony fanboys hated how ms wanted to go digital but embraces how 18 outta 33 sony games will be digital only smh the fanboy hypocrisy
edit: 18 outta 33 at launch
Krelian-co
microsoft didnt want to go digital, steam IS digital and you dont see people complaining, microsoft wanted to impose a garbage drm asking them permission to play YOUR GAMES and make users give up the rights of their purchases under the disguise of "digital" , big difference.
no the 24hr check was bs but the rest of it was a consequence of going digital.[QUOTE="Sagem28"]This, so much this. On PC there is the market to keep the costs down, theres nothing on consoles to keep prices down. it could've been but who knows. For PC I'm going pretty much all digital, because you know....Steam.
I stick with physical for console, tho.
