Well, ive been checking around to find what the actual aspect ratio is, but even the samsung site doesn't mention it. Instead, i took the 22" inch measurement for the width and then measured the height which was around 12.5 inches..made that ratio equal to 16: x and then solved to get 9.09. So im pretty sure its 16:9. Then i thought about the resolution and did a 2x check on the samsung site and it indeed ran natively at 1920x1200 both DVI and VGA.

That's what's confusing. The ratio is right, and the resolution is actually higher than the highest output on the 360. Forget being too big for the screen, if anything the image should be scaled down or with letterboxes. It's still puzzling. Is there a 360 update on the way?

I just purchased a samsung 245BW monitor. It runs 1900x1200 natively. On my desktop it runs that resolution easily. However, when i hook up my 360 with VGA and attempt to run 1920x1080, the picture is blurry and 3/4 of the dashboard can be seen on screen. I tried moving it horizontally and vertically, but the 360 must be overscaling or something, the image won't fit. Using auto adjust doesn't work either. Is there a solution to this?

Thanks

Of the two setups in the topic, which would produce a better image. I have the lcd monitor but when i pull it to 1360 (or w/e it is) x 768 it looks murky because of the aspect, and when i set it to 1280x1024, it looks less blurry but unimpressive. Could you guys please help me figure out which is better?

Thanks

I like that monitor. Aesthetically, it looks great, but is it easy to switch between inputs (DVI, VGA)?

As of a few days ago, I have made a good deal of money doing work in my building. In 3 days i've made around 260 bucks and I want to spend it on something. Ever since I got my Xbox360, i've been wanting to get the "true super max" HD "experience". I currently have my computer and 360 hooked up to a 19 inch viewsonic that supports 1280x1024. Because it's not widescreen, I'm actually running it at a lower resolution and the edges look rough.

The point of all this is that I would like some advice on what to buy/save my money with. I want to get a monitor that is future safe yet somewhere below or near 300 bucks. I don't know a lot about the details of the 360 VGA HD, but I've heard that essentially, running at 1680x1050 is equivalent to 1080p. One issue is that my gaming computer is at medium specs (7900 gt, x2 3800, 2 gb) . I don't know whether I should wait it out and buy a monitor around the same time that I upgrade my computer or what...

Can you guys give me any helpful advice?

I have a question about the Vista OEM policy:

If I buy a Home Premium OEM edition and install it on one machine, does that mean that I can't reformat that same computer at one point and reinstall from the same disk without paying for a new key?

Google.com is a powerful search engine created by a multi national and multi billion dollar company called Google. It is  a publicly traded company. I suggest typing PSP video 9 into the search box and hitting return.
