I really don't mind either way. I tried MGS 2 on the PS2 and there wasn't anything I liked about it. It did look incredible at the time, but apart from that it din't give me any enjoyment. It's one of the few games that actually bored me to tears with all the cut scenes and radio conversations and the bad camera issues killed the gameplay.
I think the PS3. They'll have to keep it going for longer since it arrived a year after the 360 and they've clearly fitted it with what they believe will come good in the long term. I'd guess that we'll see a new console from Nintendo and Microsoft at least a year or two before the PS4.

Lol, greedy. They don't seem o be charging 500 dollars for the Wii, last time I checked, hehe. Nintendo were the only ones making a profit on each console sold at launch. The other two were taking a loss, the PS3 obviously still is. You get what you pay for at the end of the day, it's cheap because it's cheap to make. And it doesn't contain flawed material, nor a format nobody seems to like yet. Fair trade, IMO. Don't get me mistaken for being a Cow. I own a 360. Currently I see no reason to buy a PS3 either. But in terms of value for money the Wii is the worst IMO. I'm not saying it's a bad system or anything.

XBL is much more advance, even Sony admit it. Sony are just getting started in comparison. And also to put the ''it's free'' agument into perspective, to run your PS3's you'll be paying $40 a year more in electricity than we pay to run our 360's.
I got mine recently and the only problem is that I don't have the time or money to play all the games that I want to play. Also, you probably wont, but I've heard that if you move the 360 console whilst playing a game from horizontal to vertical or vice versa it'll scratch your disc, so don't do that.
