I have my ps3 hooked up to my tv through componit cables, all the connection are good and I have doubled checked them, but i get a loud hum from my tv speakers and my surround sound. Any one know what that is from?

also, i cant afford any games right now (college) but my gf said she would buy me one, i wanted haze but it looks like it got delayed. I kinda want a multiplayer game but more then anything i want to to be fun. So im looking at Uncharted, COD 4, Unreal.. (i got orange box for pc), any ideas or suggestions?

folklore (if you like rpgs), resistance, ratchet and clank.

It feels like everytime I play a demo I lose interest in it.

it happend with ratchet and clank and skate, where I LOVED the demo and played it like 30 times, but then... when the game comes out, i got my fill and dont really wanna buy it.

and I think I just did it again with time crysis. So from now on im not playing demos for games i wanna buy, I think they kinda take away from the game, Ill read the review (not gamespots of course), make sure its worth my money, then buy/rent it.

Any one else feel like demos take away from the excitement of playing a new game?

For me, I think overall It has gotten old and kinda disapointing.

The core gameplay is great, and I do enjoy that if i got 20 minutes to kill 18 minutes of that can be spent flying around shooting ppl, but I think the longevity of the game is really short because of a few key things....

there is no team work, unless your playing with a friend whos sitting by you, no one cares, every one is just flying around with there heads chopped off. There is no voice chat at all, (and when there is its very bad quality), so while flying around doing your own thing is fun, It feels like im playing computer bots for all I care.

the balancing, now they did a great job of making no matter what your doing (wether it be ground, vehicle or warhawk) be equal, but thats lame, how is a personal sized rocket launcher better then the default rockets that come on a warhawk, or why do the best players when on ground combat just nade nade knife, or nade nade then a couple shots, there is no skill needed for shooting. Also, how can a warhawk have such trouble killing a ground trooper by him self, he takes just as much damage as a vehicle but is 10x harder to hit. It really takes away from the some realizim the game has.

those are the 2 main things that are just killing the game for me

yes you can switch servers if you want, but it costs $25

also, you can transfer from a PVP server to PVE or PVP to PVP, but you CANT transfer from PVE to PVP server (only pve to pve)

So, being the one person who has never played half life, I was super pumped to here The Orange Box is almost about to release for pc.

But the other day, my friend told me that you need the original half life or soemthing in order to install the orange box?? can somone clarify what he ment by that?

also, what is new in the orange box and what is old? TF2 and portal i know are new, but what half life episodes or what ever are new?
