stick a LED in there? im sure it could be done, but it wouldnt be that easy, and if your asking here i doubt you know enough about electronics to do it.
try looking on the internet to see what controller mods for the ps3 have been done
[QUOTE="Acidrain1988"]I started to play all the old MGS titles to get my self up to speed for 4, and I loved twin snakes and mgs2, but I hate mgs3.
Im sorry, but i just dont understand what there were trying to do.
Already MGS is slow (but awesome), with the amount of storyline, which is fine, and it made number 2 an amazing game but, they take away the map and that slows the game down, they make you go in your back pack to change gear that slows it down, you have to change camo, again slows it down, you have to heal your self, slows it down. You cant just eat and get health, you have to eat and get stamina then wait for it to regen, again slows the game.
I feel that 99% of the time when I play mgs3 im just so bored of having to wait for my motion sensor to sweep around, then find out what blips are the gaurds and what are just animals, then I gotta scout out the gaurds and take them out, If of course they see me, even if i get away the alarm takes like 20 minutes to go back to normal.
I find the fastest way to run into an area set the alarm off, run around and find out where all the guards are, die, then re do the room right.now how lame is that....
I dont know, by the time i finished mgs2, i was obessed with mgs thats all i could think about, now that im halfway through mgs3, i dont even want to continue it.

MGS3 was in the past and u play as big boss. There was no advanced tech to give u a real radar. It was meant to be realistic. Deal with it.
realistic?? your joking right?
what is realistic about when you shoot a guy in the chest with a dart he goes "what?" "must be my imagination" then 5 seconds later he gets knocked out..
but
if you should and miss him he sets the alarm off....
ya... that loud noise hitting the wall was reason enough to set the alarm off, but that dart sticking out of my chest is just my imagination..

well sucks to be you i guess, but i am sure most fan of the series will tell u MGS3 is the best one. there s no radar coz it s in the 60's . and this game has the best story of the series so far, so u are just missing out. it sounds to me that u are not a very patient person and i bet u are quite young too (early teens maybe?), which is the key in a stealth game. You are just missing out on a great game. and mention sensor? lol i rarely use that stuff if u have the right camo u can just crouch and scan the horizon to see what s ahead....if u play mgs3 like the earlier ones u are screwed. All MGS games had different gameplay. but obvioulsy u got twin snake which is a remake of the original with the control of mgs2, so u wouldnt know that.
im 21.... I dont mind patience but its just boring, haveing to go to 3rd person move forward, then scan, then repeat is retarted, why cant I move while in first person? i like games that take pateince but that is rewarding, this takes pateince that is just boring.
im sure the story line is great im not saying anything bad about taht, im just saying the gameplay is really boring compared to the other mgs games I have played (even the NES ones)
